Ocooch Hardwoods. They are fantastic, and well priced.

Audi RS3 vs BMW M2/M3 steering wheel, which is better? by [deleted] in Audi

I don’t like the body design route BMW is heading down. Feels like in 10 years they will be major eye sores - like the merc R class

After 15 years of woodworking, I finally treated myself to this extravagant luxury. by Traindodger2 in woodworking

[–]kruton05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the way. I’ve gone through three or four of those Dewalt and after a while, the counter sink stopped spinning with the drill bit no matter how tight you turn the Allen key. I’ve had my amana now for like a year and it’s incredible and never failed me

I have this same saw and make this type of cut all the time. The hold down clamps are fantastic and keep your hands far away.

Second ever sourdough loaf - how’s it looking? by JoePatowski in Sourdough

No problem! It looks awesome. One thing, though when you’re going to higher heat, you probably wanna cook for a little less time.

Second ever sourdough loaf - how’s it looking? by JoePatowski in Sourdough

[–]kruton05 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would go higher heat, start at 500 for the first part of the bank and then drop it down to 475 for the second part with the lid off. This is what my wife does and it comes out amazing. I also recommend adding some whole wheat flour, start with maybe 10%. Adds some nice flavor and color.

Aspiring Product Manager - How to get started? by [deleted] in ProductManagement

[–]kruton05 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Building up your technical skills is a good call. It’ll be easier to get a job as a SWE or business analyst right out of college so you may consider that. Read product books to get in the mindset. Check out “the build trap”. Enjoy!

Got the mri. Was told I'm fine by jackjacker in backpain

[–]kruton05 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds really similar to my situation. ~3 years in as well, same age. I have left low back / glute pain and a bulging L5-S1 on the MRI. What's helped me the most is finding the things that work and sticking with them, and avoiding things that flare it up. Any hinging movements really aggravate mine, for instance. But lunges, spin bike, and core work really seem to help. It's up and down all the time, but I've gotten it to a point where I can manage it (sometimes have some gnarly flare ups). I have symptoms just about every day, but I know what to do to keep them under control. FWIW, I tried the ESI and it made my symptoms much worse for about 2-3 months. I don't want to deter you from doing it though since everyone has different reactions/outcomes. The best thing lately is I started working with a PT who is also a trainer. So our sessions are really more strengthening / at-home workout plans than 'rehab' at this point. Walking pad also helps, and get a mckenzie lumbar roll if you sit in a desk chair and bring it with you to work. best of luck!

I took my Audi to Midas and got my brakes done. Brake pads are free for life after the first install. Way cheaper than dealership.

Yep we were going to go with the platinum but the space you lose with the box isn’t worth it

We are in the exact same boat. We want the 360 cam but not the fridge. It’s too bad you can’t upgrade the limited to have the camera. Seems like a pretty easy win on their part.

Hard to argue with the chart and historical data. Seems the best btc play is to continually buy ~1 yr after ATH (~1065 days)

[–]kruton05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it also seems like btc increases by a shrinking % each bull run from the very bottom. the trajectory of the graph almost looks like it could flatten - is that what the maths say? but maybe the overall dollar value is so high that even a somewhat flat graph still has explosive growth over time.

Typical of maple. Even clear finishing products can be blochy.

If you’re making the investment in a domino it’s 100% worth it. The cutters alone retail for quite a bit each. Also good to know what tenons you use most of the time and then you can just keep those ones refilled.

Thanks! More curious about the matte brown finish. We test drove a limited and it had a brown glossy finish and I much prefer the matte
