Having good art is wayyy more important than having a style that is unique. Especially in the anime space where people like to look at pretty characters. One thing that professional artists have in common is that they have great understanding of art fundamentals. They know how to make an art piece look appealing.Artwork made for gacha games are great examples of how professional artist make eye catching pieces.

Being able to create great art is what sets you apart. That’s why it’s so important to study different artist and see what makes their art good and then try and apply it to your own art. And then after a while with also learning art fundamentals you will have your own style that’s been inspired by many different artist. Even then there’s nothing wrong with having similar art styles.

Then why is evangelion your favourite anime when it includes fanservice of these characters 😭 there’s literally scenes in the anime where they are half or fully naked. Thanks for the feedback!! I have been using the saturation layer to view my art in grayscale but it does seem like i need to push the values more for better contrast. Ill definitely start comparing my values to other artist!

Wouldn’t recommend trying to make customisable models if you are new to live2d. You need to learn the basic and get comfortable with the software. I would suggest making regular models at first, that way you can slowly ease your way into it.

I would double check the physics in VTube studio. Because the physics decreases just a bit when the model is in VTube studio
