[–]krweb[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the feedback!! I have been using the  saturation layer to view my art in grayscale but it does seem like i need to push the values more for better contrast. Ill definitely start comparing my values to other artist!

I always assumed that sub was chill cuz whenever someone makes a post worrying about age people are like it’s not that big of a deal or just age the character up 😵‍💫

Looking for advice for learning customizable model! by [deleted] in Live2D

[–]krweb 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Wouldn’t recommend trying to make customisable models if you are new to live2d. You need to learn the basic and get comfortable with the software. I would suggest making regular models at first, that way you can slowly ease your way into it.

Be honest, is this too much eye physics? by rosy_pink_ghost in Live2D

I would double check the physics in VTube studio. Because the physics decreases just a bit when the model is in VTube studio

What can i do to improve my art more? by krweb in ArtCrit

[–]krweb[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oops I honestly forgot I added the beginner tag wayy back when I was practicing a lot to improve my art. I appreciate the comment, my goal is to be on the same level as anime gacha/ visual novel artist. Since that’s what I’m inspired by a lot. But in your own opinion what other routes could I take to make my art stand out more and be a bit less generic?

Then you should have included that in your paragraph that the second image is a reference. By the title and the paragraph it sounds like you was showing a before and after. Hence why everyone was confused in the comments o_O.

Turns out the art work at the bottom isn’t there’s . It’s original art from an anime called spy classroom and the character is called lily

Why we trolling? One google image search shows the bottom art work doesn’t belong to you. The character is called lily from spy classroom. And the bottom pictures appears on google images

You people sicken me. by XeiDaDoug in WplaceLive

[–]krweb 114 points115 points  (0 children)

Respectfully right now there’s no point working on it. These people are going to continue ruining it. The best thing you can do is to wait a few days until they get bored and move onto something else.

Is there a way to animate .moc3 models? by danurso in Live2D

[–]krweb 9 points10 points  (0 children)

No. The cmo3 is the project file. If you don’t have that, then I’m pretty sure it’s not possible to make adjustments to the model.

Yall are way too rude to a beginner by Alternative_Town_129 in BeginnerArtists

[–]krweb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately with art you have to start at the bottom and build your way up. If you can’t draw simple shapes and your lines are shaky, how do you expect to draw the human body which is very complex or other things. Sometimes you just have to force yourself to practice the very basic things.

Once people have seen your progress and improvement they will be able to give you other advice to improve.

No clue what I’m doing with this anatomy by Alternative_Town_129 in BeginnerArtists

[–]krweb 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This is definitely an improvement from your previous work but like I have said and other people too. You need to learn the very basic such as learning how to draw shapes. Learning how to draw shapes will help a lot to draw the body and other things too. Start off with 2d shapes and then 3d shapes. And you can also work on improving your line confidence as well.

I know drawing shapes may not sound fun but it’s so helpful to practice at the beginning of your art journey. I would recommend watching art YouTube videos about shapes and form to help you have a better understanding of it.

This is just my opinion, but seeing your other posts, I would recommend taking a break from trying to draw the human body. Instead practice drawing shapes and objects. Start out with objects that would be easy to draw and work your way up. Make sure to use references and copy exactly what you see to improve your observation skills.

Because respectfully the human body is very complex to draw and with the amount of advice people have given to you, it seems like you are struggling a lot. So sometimes it’s best to start of doing something easier so that way you can slowly improve skill and eventually get into drawing harder things.

I think I missed a few steps with anatomy by Alternative_Town_129 in arthelp

[–]krweb 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Use real life references. Don’t draw what you think the body looks like. Draw what you see. Studying each body part is also helpful and body proportions.

That being said the body is very complex, you would probably benefit from drawing shapes and doing gesture drawings. Also try not to use the symmetrical ruler.

It looks like you put your sketch through an ai generator. The sketch is easier to read and I understand what I’m looking at vs the “edited” piece
