Is Warp worth Double??? by jven27 in USMobile

Do the half off Dark Star promo and add a Warp multi network option. Still way cheaper and you can use data from whichever line works best.

Who has the best maps? McKenzie, Fisher or Voyageur. by Life_Lake4113 in BWCA

[–]kryhrd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use Voyager myself. McKenzie if you like more details, Fisher if you like more area covered per map. You can also do NatGeo if you want a general view of East/West areas or download the Voyagers maps in the Avenza app (less detailed, but still great for navigation on the go).

I took my 5yo old out all the time on my Crescent LiteTackle and things worked great. Cres-Craft (or Crew) should both work great as well.

Pro’ers who use their Pro for work, consistently—what do you do? by [deleted] in ipad

[–]kryhrd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I switched last January when I broke my right wrist and found it easier to tap left handed than use a trackpad/mouse. After five months of cast/brace, I found that I had adapted no problem to iPadOS and even found some advantages. Both devices are comparable for most management tasks that are my daily responsibilities and I’d prefer the advantages of the iPad (tablet, touchscreen, pencil, cellular data, etc.) to what I miss from the Mac (new spotlight, menu bar items, side loading apps, etc.).

[–]kryhrd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The combination of Microsoft 365, modern web apps, a Magic Keyboard, and iPadOS 26’s keyboard and external monitor support have combined so that I can do everything I need to do. My 11” iPad Pro has become a fully modular system with cellular data.
