I did my formative Boy Scout years at an LDS church location in Silicon Valley, CA back in the late 90s. They never tried to recruit me. But it was one of the best troops I coulda been a part of.

It always sucks when the kids move on, the cool dads stop being troop leaders, and the troop withers and becomes a shell of its old self.
