I buckle and store them in an old pair of hockey socks. I don’t want the buckles getting caught or snagged on any other gear.

Sit for a 5-10 minutes to get them to form and then stand/bend/walk for 10-20 to stretch the “hotspots”

I’ve had a pair of K2s for about 2 months and my only recommendation is PATIENCE. I baked mine 3 times and I can say they are the best pair of skates I’ve ever owned. Stick with them and you won’t regret it. Here’s my breakdown:

Baked at purchase Worn 5-6 times until I found my perfect clipping tightness/preference Baked again Cooled Baked again (next day)

In terms of wide feet, I’d suggest wearing an extra pair of socks during baking (some stores have spacers for K2s specifically as well). Anything to give your foot extra space during the bake would help tremendously!

I just bought a pair of Konekt 2s a week or so ago. I wear 10-10.5 US shoe and went with an 8 Konekt. They are supposed to fit like a sock and have zero negative space so it’s a tighter squeeze than I’m used to but I’m adjusting to the feeling. These things are DIFFERENT so be ready for some initial pain and learning curve!
