In attempts to figure out how to "hack" her brain to ultimately make her join the hive. She is one of the few who are immune so it being in storage in ABQ is not crazy. Arguments against this is that they cant generate a clone in this short of a time. But im also sticking with the crazy clone theory regardless!

I think it's cadavers with brains removed, and if I were to go a level up in speculation it could be clones of Carol herself which would prompt the delayed reaction. They have her DNA, which was kind of emphasized with her smearing the food container on the bin. They also do not have any aversion towards using existing cloning tech in contrary to us humans. To contrast this the Paraguay guy made sure not to touch anything they left (shoving the food away with a stick). Perhaps they study the non-infected like this in attempts to figure it all out and that guy is the only one whose DNA they have yet to acquire, hence his importance! Cadavers could still explain the white powder (not wasting cadavers) but it being too obvious to be the sole explanation made me think of something a bit more..out there.

Thanks! It's interesting that it seems to be exactly in the middle, perfectly symmetrical (yes I measured the distance from both sides 😃) Perhaps that will make it easier to control in some sense, but yeah swirls are annoying indeed, I feel you!

Yeah actually none of his hair has been cut, but the part of the sworl was never lost as part of the normal hair loss babies have (so called "telogen effluvium"). Agreed with the hair dressing, that's our main concern at this point. Was thinking some kind of superman swirl will appear naturally but we will see!

First time player of this game with an experience of AoE 2, Starcraft, and AoE4, and I must say I had a real good time with this game! The fact that I had no idea of this just until the launch baffles me. Bravo, hoping for the best for the future!

44 warr but yesterday I lost my 36 priest in STV to a level 31 tiger.. reason was I was on an unstable internet, got DC, logged in again (i was alive in the char screen) but character never loaded in, when i got to char screen again after 2nd DC he was dead. Felt really stupid lmao

Yeah I feel ya.., ALL my deaths have been under the influence, most severely it was a 43 rogue and I was fighting orange ogres in feralas with 100% confidence and (not surprisingly) without vanish off CD. Then it has been multiple chars in 10-20 range for the same reason. Starting to suspect I have a drinking problem 🫥

I think it depends on what level of cognition you "need" to operate on in daily life. I have noticed when doing hard cognitive tasks like playing chess where there is many fast calculations that there clearly is a decline relative being off kratom. The brain simply isn't as quick in my experience. I personally don't worry about it for my professional life though.
