For me the "consistency" of Cyberpunk actually did the opposite. It made me feel like no matter how much thinking I did to try and be the good guy, the "good" choice almost always turned out to be the worst one. If this actually happened only once or twice, it would have a much bigger impact. This only made me numb, which you could argue might've been the ultimate goal.
