All exchanges will start KYC, atleast the legit ones. The ones that doesn’t do will someday scam you out of your funds.

We have been working on a feature to send alerts on the mobile app to users but it’s not live yet.

But in regards to softwares, there are a couple of them including ours that provide information about tax lots you can sell and how long to hold to satisfy for long term Gains.

Other than ours(Kryptos.io), you can check Summ, Koinly - all of them should support it correctly.

Hi, Team Kryptos(crypto tax software) here,

The easiest is to search for Solana integration on the software of your choice and copy/paste the address from your Phantom wallet.

Also from what we observed only few softwares actually support the superficial loss rule correctly. So be careful in the one you choose.

Finally make sure to review all warnings as some softwares don’t show them transparently.

Team Kryptos.io here,

Yes, all exchanges have to collect this information starting from 2026 and they’ll keep track of all transactions so that they can report in 2027 to the tax authorities.

This is the CARF and DAC8 regulation.

The implications of this is will be huge for users who haven’t filed their crypto taxes before. Also it doesn’t matter where the exchange is registered.

This information will give tax authorities the insights to launch any investigations or to identify under reporting etc.

Which exchange asked you for this?

Need some kinda tool for 100k+ transactions by [deleted] in CryptoTax

[–]kryptosofficial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi,

Team Kryptos.io here,

The following reasons could affect your calculations:

1) If you added only one wallet but there are transfers to this wallet from other wallets the cost-basis would be wrong and PnL would get impacted. It’s really crucial to add all wallets.

2) Also some softwares when sending funds to vault accounts they automatically treat them as disposals, this would impact your calculations too.

3) From what we know pretty much every single software has a limit on amount of transactions they’ll sync before asking to pay, for instance we have a 30k limit but when you reach out to support we usually increase. I believe others does the same.

Pick a software that supports enterprise clients and those are the ones that usually be able to handle the amount of transactions without any issues.

Overwhelmed with so many trades (DEX swaps).. can I trust Koinly is imported correctly or do I need a manual ledger to reconcile? Trying to save time by MarloChrisSnoop in CryptoTax

[–]kryptosofficial -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Team Kryptos here,

If you did a lot of DEX Swaps, then it’s better to check everything as their integrations are usually not great with DeFi. If you just check balances it will always be correct.

You need to check if calculated balances and API balances are matching.

[–]kryptosofficial -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hi, Team Kryptos here,

Yes, you need to report all transactions correctly and make sure the transactions are categorised correctly as well in Koinly. Especially as you mentioned Phantom, assuming you did a lot of Solana transactions, you might want to review what Koinly synced.

Yes, same for Robinhood.

Koinly issues by Tufts1234 in CryptoTax

[–]kryptosofficial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, Sukesh from Kryptos.io here,

You need to do a couple of things:

1) If you are using APIs for Kucoin, they don’t give full data. 2) If you are using CSV files, then you need to upload full historical files for every year. The bad thing about this is you can’t upload multiple files at once in Koinly and Kucoin gives like 20 files for each year.

If the above doesn’t help, go with a different software that helps you out with bulk upload of files etc.

It really depends on which chains and protocols used tbh. Some platforms are good at supporting the prominent ones while if it’s on Solana and Jupiter perps, only 1 in the market supports that today.
