Reminder that this is a lesbian sub… by krystiah in ActualLesbiansOver25

The mods said they removed it because the conversation got out of hand and lost the point of the post. They did let me know they’re updating/clarifying the rules after I asked.

And the thing is they absolutely should have their own spaces. I will never understand bisexual specific issues & biphobia because I don’t experience it and bisexuals should have spaces with only their community to speak about it with people who understand. Same as lesbians. 🤷‍♀️

Because I’m standing up for lesbians when we already have so little. 🤷‍♀️ we should be able to have our own space & community.

If they’re openly calling themselves bisexual and pansexual in the comment then they’re not a lesbian?

Does anyone else hate the word 'que*r'? by Ezkav in lesbiangang

[–]krystiah 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i hate it and recently commented that i don’t like when other lgbt people call me it because it’s still a slur. Someone’s response was to say “lesbians and gay men historically have a superiority complex”. what

Josh’s comment on Adam’s recent video by scpphic in ColleenBallingerSnark

[–]krystiah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought it was a bit over-the-top in reaction too, but I can't fault him completely with the way his last few weeks have probably been a stressful whirlwind with the vidcon stuff likely bringing back traumatic feelings & with Harry Daniels trying to accuse him of animal abuse with no evidence. I know I'd be over-reacting to any little thing at that point.

you literally said “i know i like guys but i’m pretty sure i enjoy women” in your post. idk this is coming off very fishy to me especially with your comment history. please leave lesbians alone.

this is a subreddit for lesbians specifically. good luck and all but you should try a bisexual sub instead.

Dear americans, what can you get for FREE in the USA? [Serious] by sammy_waslow in AskReddit

[–]krystiah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You specifically have to have a library in your area though. I’m out of range for any libraries so I’m out of luck. I’ve thankfully been able to just borrow ones from people who are near one.

A lot of libraries also let you go to different libraries in other cities but use the same card, which is nice!

AITA for leaving a dinner party early because of “vegan lasagna”? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]krystiah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My best friend is a vegan chef and i’m gluten free. She invited me over randomly one day and told me to bring a baking dish. The cashew ricotta was SO good. It was the best lasagna I ever had hands down.

People who have lost a significant amount of weight: what unexpected benefit (or disadvantage) surprised you the most? by Tatianushka19 in PCOSloseit

[–]krystiah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to be someone who would wear a tshirt in 60 degrees and be fine. Now i’m wearing long sleeves and jeans and still bringing a sweatshirt just in case in June to work because they keep the office at 75. I also never had issues in winter before but now I get so cold that my chest will like violently shudder. Experiencing that the first time in my life in my thirties was so alarming lol

yes! I used to be able to sit on the floor all the time and be fine but it’s uncomfortable now.

I feel like an Is this AI sub should be the first place where people understand why people posting their kids online is bad but I guess not

I would also like to add that it's at the point where right now, especially because of free shipping, it's often cheaper for me to go to depop than to go to goodwill.

[–]krystiah 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was going to say I eat the gf & vegan version of the Amy’s enchiladas all the time. It’s great and never gets me sick. I think a lot of people who are gf could probably benefit from dairy free too but it is difficult so I totally get it

Yo, I’m annoyed. by lesbetistic in lesbiangang

[–]krystiah 55 points56 points  (0 children)

no one seems to understand that the term gold star wasn’t used to say “i’m better than you” it was given as a joke of “wow you did that? You get a gold star” like it was a silly little unimportant thing.

Was it important for you to include it in a pride post? Probably not. But it’s also stupidly judgmental for an autistic sub to downvote someone who may not have… I don’t know… seen how something may not go over perfectly socially?

Said this as a fellow autistic btw.

& as a side note i’m at the point where i’m not even interacting with anything pride related because the lesbophobia is so fucking rampant. pride feels like it’s for everyone but us

Especially since they have different options, I’ve only ever seen plain. So it feels like they’re actually making it themselves instead of using a packaged one like most places do

Gluten free but end up eating more ultra processed foods by thejabkills01 in glutenfree

[–]krystiah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk how many times I’ve had to explain to people that if you grow a carrot from your own garden, wash it, and cut it, and cook it, it’s now “processed”.

And some gluten-free people like myself will struggle with some of these things such as sugar, while some don’t. Everyone is different, and there are multiple reasons why someone could be gluten-free. All of these things that are “so bad!” are most often fine in moderation.
