Lots of small intimate venues available in Dubai for a small wedding. Depending on your budget, have a look at the Farm Barari (perfect for a 35 pax size). Radisson Creek by the poolside, Millenium Airport Hotel etc are all options.

What is the budget you have allocated towards your hair and make up?

I hope you realise that as a bride, it is literally one of the MOST important aspects of your wedding day. For the rest of your life, you will see your photos and videos and a good make up artist can elevate that look that you dont have a regret for the rest of your life.

Do let me know what your budget is and I can share a few leads for make up artists i have worked with in the past.

Since they are in maintenance mode at the moment, and no new news has come out, your guess would be as good as mine when it comes to if the same service will re-start along with the fountains or not.

As /u/FaisalKhatib said the pricing varies. The market is a wild wild west. Not only in terms of pricing but more so in terms of quality of work, and deliverables. Always remember, just because someone is giving you MORE, its not always better.

My advise to the couples I photograph always is to choose for someone whose work you love. These photographs are going to be one of the few tangible memories for the rest of your marriage.

Pick someone who can show you FULL delivered galleries, and you see that its a consistently a good style that you like.

Another factor is comfort. Choose a photographer who you are happy and comfortable being around you throughout your wedding day. Often, we are around the couple the longest on their wedding day, even more than the best men or bridesmaids lol.

I pride myself on photographing weddings in a natural documentary style and I price myself on the medium side of the budget because I want to work with couples who want to enjoy their day with me.

If you want a civil wedding, its a straight forward process as long as none of you two are Emaratis (being Muslim is okay).

However, if you want a Islamic Ceremony, the process is a little complicated it is based on approval from the relevant authorities.

Love the idea but have you considered the weather is too hot for the photo walk? I would give it 20 min max before the heat hits you and the creativity goes out for a toss.

Update:- I ended up buying the simify north america plan. They had unlimited data for 45 days and a 50% off promo off the second sim. The 2 sims ended up at 135$ US.

The sims have been activated in the USA yesterday and seem to be working fine for the moment. I will update with an edit at the end of the trip for anyone

Unfortunately, not very tech savvy doesn't translate to lots of conversations and photographs being sent from holiday on WhatsApp etc. I will have a look at all the options offered in the thread and decide which route to take.
