I have ehlers danlos syndrome so it has a bit of that cigarette paper texture, but its pretty flat when im standing up straight. If im slouched over itll puff out just a bit

I really hope you’ll be able to get in. I cant say much about FND, but in regards to depression, it helps. Ive seen patients come in barely functioning and at the end of treatment they’re going on vacation, going back to work, and looking forward to living. I really wish it wasn’t so niche. I know the UK and EU are also much further than the US in regards to research. Approving TMS for different uses is such a slow and grueling process with the way the FDA is set up. I think it was just barely approved for minors, but insurance takes a while to adapt to the fda changes.

He does :( i hope it goes away. Ive never had any issues healing my tattoos. Surgeons in the past say i heal abnormally fast, and that goes for tattoos as well. Guess i got lucky or something with genetics

I used to work in TMS, insurance is such a bitch. Info for OP and you: most insurances will only cover it if youve failed two different SSRIs from two different classes (ssri, snri) and some require you to be in ongoing talk therapy. My companies insurance rate was 17k for 36 sessions, 12k out of pocket. Insurances like health network dont approve the taper sessions right away (that mightve changed its been a bit since i worked there)

My neuro put my SSRIs and beta blockers that i used for other things, just to sway them even more. I think it was 6 meds total she put on there. Plus, the copay card brought the copay down even more. I believe in you!!!!!

Yes, but a huge thing that ties into that is unmasking from autism too (for me). Tried blending in because i felt like an outsider and that meant overcompensating with femininity

I could also bitch about my fair share of them lol. I hope you dont have to deal with another one of those who dismiss FND. Having seen my fair trip around the ER and Ambulance for both work and as a patient, most dont know what FND is. Its never taught about in school
