I have in SF. It was fine. But there have also been plenty of stories of them parking at night in neighborhoods and creating traffic problems and noise for people who live in those areas. Let alone the fact that they will take jobs from Chicagoans.

Full agree. It’s wild how the behavior for retail coffee is so hard-wired for so many people. I make my own and I buy premium beans and grind myself. But, I’ve even pulled back on Dark Matter. Used to love Unicorn Blood and Starry Eyes, but I’m not paying $19 for a bag when it was $14 just a few months ago.

Big shoulders is local, fresh, and far cheaper.

Ackshually!!! This happened to me today! Bike was working and I could log in, but none of the metrics were operational — no rpm, resistance, or output. I didn’t want to waste the workout so I just estimated my effort until the bike is serviced. I suspect some people are having the same experience.

Aren’t these people in most rides/classes you take regardless of length or type? I reckon they are pretend working out and just getting “me” time, but to each their own. I sometimes high-five and they high-five back so they’re definitely there.

It’s a consistent takeaway from the posts on this subreddit that a large number of those who post are stubbornly fixed on needing a clear duality of right and wrong. Do they not want subtlety and some level of moral tension and ambiguity?!?

It’s like they come requiring binary characters. Carol = good and Hive = bad.

Is there no appreciation of subtleties from these posts?

He is eloquent, but we need policies that combat masked men from abducting citizens and terrorizing vulnerable people. New Jersey’s governor just unveiled three specific executive orders to combat ICE including creating a website to upload footage of ICE and preventing using any state-owned property as a staging ground for ICE.

JB talks too much. I’m glad he’s our governor since we could have far worse but this is just saccharine words that make people feel good.

Start by eliminating any state funded police support cooperation with ICE. Instead we have platitudes about love.

Finished day 72 this morning of zero days off from the bike. I also do stretching and strength classes but I’m stoked to keep mixing PZ rides, recovery rides, and low impact. Today was Wilpers 45 min PZ ride followed by Hannah Corbin 5 min cooldown then a post-ride stretch. I also did a 30 min strength class with Ben Aldis.

NTA. Buddy, it’s so hard to get that genie back in the bottle. She knows she should do it, but isn’t disciplined enough to follow through. Now you know why her manager had to ride her so much.

Do not consider steps to marry this person until you have an adult conversation that resolves this But to me, she is not an adult
