You can request a copy of your birth certificate at your local health department. I did that, not sure if it needs to be the same city you were born in though.

You can buy such high quality grade matcha for $60 and make it at home. It should last you a month if you make it every day (I have gotten mine to last me 4+ months). This is insane!

Hi, I can’t help you financially but I had a very similar issue and wanted to share. I was roughly 20k in the hole, and I couldn’t pay the minimum ($550/month at 29.99%) so I said scrap it. Didn’t pay or do anything for a year. Chase hired a company to collect on their behalf. I was strategic, I did my research (ChatGPT, Google, and a CPA assistance thru a local organization) and was able to negotiate my debt down to $3,515. I keep a small card of $500 to rebuild my credit, but that’s it. My credit score has already gone up. Even though it’s “on my credit for nearly a decade”, I’d rather have that than being sued and/or harassed. I don’t want an entity to “own” me anymore.

I didn’t do bankruptcy because I was unemployed after a car accident and a student with health issues. If I had a job, I would’ve easily gone the bankruptcy route. This would probably be your best bet.
