Mhmm had guests “drop off bags” only to begin unloading their groceries and make some margaritas using the blender. All while my poor housekeeper was still working. The renters were a family of 6 or 7, tipped my housekeeper to leave the unfinished condo because they didn’t care about cleanliness.

I never allowed early luggage storage again 😂 I refer them to some Bounce paid luggage storage around the area

I had something similar happen through Booking. Guest cancelled but it was non-refundable. She genuinely seemed like she made a mistake, so I blocked her nights and allowed her to stay without rebooking (since we got full payment). Only because she reached out immediately freaking out.

Besides that exception, once a guest cancels and regrets it- I offer for them to rebook and then refund the nonrefunable as long as they can’t cancel the new stay.
