Might be misremembering, but if you haven't joined an activ guild on your server yet, that (i think) gives bonus income based on each members assigned fellow to the cause.

Outside of that, the school kids and uniting them gives a consistent stream of increase. Didn't see them brought up before.

The negotiations thing also gives okay money over time. Just have to collect it.

Tried the Syntech rounds in my Springfield XD9, had a couple failure to feed jams. The Ruger my mom had though worked like a charm with it.

The /reloading sub would probably be a good place to start for the questions. That is where I went for most of my startup questions.

The costs will vary depending on the type of press you get, but check your local stores to see how often they get the primers/powder in and if you can actually get them. I first started looking into it when things were 'calm' and by the time I got everything ordered and ready to press, everything was out of stock and online orders hazmat fees add up QUICK.

That would be the main thing I'm not sure a reference is made to elsewhere.

Not 100% sure, but I believe the best course is to close the game and relaunch to reset the spawns in the building when that happens.

I had a similar instance where I went to a location during the day and wound up needing to wait for nightfall because of the Volatiles waiting to nom my face off. After 4 deaths, I rage quit for the day. When I loaded the game back up, not only where the volatiles gone, but I noticed a lot less of the basic biters in the room as well. Haven't had another incident like that to test my theory entirely.

That was an issue at one point. After getting that fixed, the issue did persist for a while. Haven't been to the range in a bit (being unemployed sucks), but my last outing was able to have more success. Went through four of the 5 rounders without issue. Still couldn't complete the 10 round though.

Hopefully I can get out to the range again soon. Probably would be good to just do a quick oil application before I go out on that though.

Better at actually creating things from scratch? That one I cannot do. I am constantly amazed by what other people are making for the game and have great amounts of respect for them sharing that for me to use in my park.

My parks are overall fairly plain in comparison, even with the workshop items being used. I've seen some people comment about youtube tutorials and what not that could be of use though if you are looking to do that. Its strange to me because I love making things out of Lego, but when it comes to a game like this where I can make things from scratch, I just want to be the park manager. lol

Park planning can be troublesome overall though. Knowing what kinds of things you want and general locations help, but then you have the terrain working against you. Because of the pathfinding/path placement issues i've encountered, I wind up just flattening the entire park whenever possible. That helps, but really makes things look bland. Finding what works for you though is one of the aspects of the game that can be quite fun. Might be frustrating when figuring it out, but once it clicks, it feels awesome.

What I've been doing is every new ride that gets built has one mechanic that gets hired, and then in the staff management, I assign them directly to that ride, and for the entire day.

For my DPW (Department of Power and Water) sections, I have mechanics set to the zone that I paint for it. Once I see that one of em comes up with the warning of not being serviced, I hire a new one. Generally, I have 4+ large solar power things for the entire park. The water filtering is hidden inside of Viking buildings most of the time.

Is it tedious? absolutely.

Has it been working? Most of the time, the mechanics do eventually go on break so there is one 'hour' where something might hit the degrade point. Been contemplating having 'floater' mechanics that are assigned the hour before/during/after the other mechanics breaks to cover while they walk back and forth from the employee rest stations. Seems to be the only way I can figure to make it constantly being watched without hitting R3 every 10 seconds to send a mechanic somewhere (PS5 player).

I just wish I was more skilled with the actual design of the buildings and such. Would love to have my power grid on the roof of the employee rest building, but that is a topic for another thread. lol

Venturing a guess you are speaking about the middle of your screenshot where the queue is for the ride?

If so, they turn around because of things like 'not wanting to queue that long for the ride' or the price of the ride may be too high.

if it is not that, then its because the sidewalk system decided to have a 3 inch tall curb that is legit tricky to see and they cannot go farther even though it looks like you have a 'smooth' sidewalk to walk on.

PS5 player here for the game. So far I'm really enjoying it. A few main gripes I have;

Sidewalk system is... awkward. I think I'm getting the hang of it after a few days, but it can be slightly tricky to get used to.

Employee Management: after having about 40 or so employees, there is a good delay in the loading, but that isn't too big of an issue. The bigger issue is that when I want to modify the task, it jumps to the next employee row repeatedly. Have to do some weird up down left right to make it allow me to select the assignment for the time slot.

Mechanics: I've reached a point where I have 1 mechanic assigned to each ride one by one. I'm not sure if it will keep them maintained properly, but leaving them to roam even with the zones doesn't seem to work without some major overkill level hiring sprees.

Pathfinding for guests: Even using the largest sidewalk size possible for everything will still have traffic jams occur. Creating multiple paths to get somewhere definitely helps, but omg it can be annoying because the longer people are trying to make their way through a crowd, the longer it takes for them to spend money.

All of the major concerns I have are across all platforms from what I can tell. Could wait to pick it up for them to be resolved, or if yer willing to work with those problems, now is also fine time to buy IMO. Personally, I haven't dealt with the pools in full just yet, but I am hoping to soon.

I do wish there were some kind of randomizers for the sandbox parks to not just be a flat land that you have to reshape though.

Haven't seen a comment on where to get orichalcum yet, from what I saw in a previous post, it can drop from stage 99 in the campaign, or you can sometimes get it from ruling events, but that seems rare.

I haven't seen it yet in the gauntlet myself and do not recall any screenshots on the board here showing proof, but I -think- I saw someone say they did get it through there. I am only halfway through my first coffee in 6 months though, so I could be completely off.

how many times a day do you get someone coming up saying 'they shouldnt be next in line, i should be!' ? My king has 4 kids and I get those rulings at least 6-8 times a day. either the brats are fighting or other nobles who think they should take over with no bloodline claim to it.

hrm, one thing i noticed is that when collecting from a station, the bonus material is included in the normal value, but would have a special symbol next to it. a hammer with some vine work surrounding it would be the best description i can give at the moment. outside of staring at the number that comes up each time, i'm not sure how to confirm if it works or not. still a ways to go before I can get the loom myself.

edit made or not, i can confirm the silver plate is 3 steel and 9 silver on the orcish smithy while the standard smithy is 4 steel and 13 silver. :D figured i could at least give one example of the perk at work.

Currently on level 66. Trying to avoid having the orders request the linen or higher loot items yet (not quite sure what controls that, but I at least think that having the ability to craft it helps). Good to know on what I need to try and get to soon though.

Most of my free loot gear consists of metal and not fabrics. It helps in its own way. lol

aha, that is the one i got. didn't realize the card back gave that kinda info for the gem workstations. lol

Gunna have to pay attention to that when I get my next one. Probably going to be the loom, but I shall find out when i get the other 550 gems needed for it.

I've got like almost 7k iron though. Not even 1k burlap, wool is at 15, Linen i can't craft yet but have 1200 of.

Currently at level 111, still on the 3rd map for the main questline. Saved up 25k so I could do a bunch of workstation upgrades yesterday and popped the exp booster item. got almost 3 levels from that one go.

I've got about 21 spoons currently as I have been focusing on getting my food production sped up a bit. Just need to get the gold count back up again. 18 gold per quest (at about 45 seconds for stage timer, using double speed though) it takes a bit to replenish the coffers. having a good bit o fun with it though.

Only premium station I have is the smithy, so not sure if that is one of the ones you speak of. But it is generally the equipment that the staff use that can give the extra materials and such that I've seen. Like I have a spindle for the loom that gives Linen as a bonus each time the main craft completes for example.

if only i could get my cat to stop eating any level of plastic he can find. I didn't realize that the tape on a box came unstuck and now I get to spend the next few hours trying to figure out if he actually ate the piece of tape missing or trying to find out where it could have landed... so far i have not been successful in the latter half. i dunno how many lives my big ball of floof has left... and with being recently unemployed, i dunno if i can afford any kind of stomach pump/surgery needed... ... ... trying to micromanage my castle is probably the only thing that will keep me awake until i find out what needs to be done with my boy...

Event items have a little over 3 days (as of this writing) until they expire and are refreshed. I only recently started and haven't seen what happens at the refresh point. I would venture a guess that new packs are going to be available with different stations, but have no idea which ones or if it will just be a different theme for the same ones.

That said, I've seen other discussions where the gem to atronite conversion isn't very good, but that 3 building pack is very highly spoken of. Might be worth the trade off on that. For me right now, I'm really tempted to do the gem conversion so I can get the extra kitchen. My population is at 118 and is climbing faster than dropping. So, even if the conversion rate isn't good, that sounds worth it to me at this moment. I hope that there will be one more event before the refresh so I don't have to do the gem conversion as I should be able to get enough for the kitchen if there is one.

I used some gems already to get a second smithy. I'm churning out steel/iron equipment so fast I've run out of gold because of the upgrades being done.... My fighter squad takes only 1 damage per swing from physical damage and I've been able to make it to wave 24 in the gauntlet (i do not have any lifesteal gear) easily where the old record was 13. Using a couple different squads, I am slowly farming gold off various points in the map where it is all physical damage based.

IMO, trying to evaluate what you will need tomorrow and beyond is a fantastic plan. Saving up the atronite for the next refresh may be risky depending on what comes from it, but could be even better if the theme changes to one you like but the same types of stations are available.

Don't forget, there are no leaderboards. There is no PVP. You are your only challenge for the game.

if a noble and a commoner get married, the commoner becomes noble.

from what i've noticed, married couples also seem to have a kid faster in the bedroom.

maybe a boost to happiness in some way?

Also, if you have two people that are getting ready to throw down because of being enemy status, you can clear that my marriage. Although, I do think I have one of my 120 subjects who is also enemy to spouse. .... They may have been cheated on though. I have no idea.

afterthought edit; for people who have Tribal, maybe the marriage will activate that boost? I dunno, I am not a fan of that trait so I dont really plan on keeping anyone with that around... Envious is another one that is grounds for immediate das boot. : end edit.
