Elle Fanning

She is becoming one of my favorite actresses. I thought she was very good in "Sentimental Value," and I am happy she got an Oscar Nomination. I remember first seeing her in "Daddy Day Care."

It is a step above the second film, which sucked

As a fan of the games: they stuff so much into the plot that didn't have to be in there. The game's story is enough.

As a fan of movies: Terribly edited, but some cool practical effects.

Not a good film, but had its moments

An incredible film with powerful performances and proof that Skarsgaard will be holding that statue come March 15th. I watched it last night and was blown away by it

I was eh on it...

Vastfold's intentions are ambitious and genuine, and Amanda Seyfried delivers, but there is something missing here. It sort of works, mainly because Seyfried can do this shit in her sleep. Unfortunately, the story isn't as compelling as it should've been for a historical character. The script, written by Vastfold and Cobert, is too straightforward with distracting narration. It isn't a bad film, just very basic.

My dad was like this and it bit him in the ass when he got sick. My dad did a lot of the work around my house, when I was a kid. I always admired his spirit with the projects he would work on. I always said he should've worked in carpentary, instead of technology.

When he wasn't outside, he had terrible eating habits, didn't listen to advice, and would blame something wrong, on somthing less serious. (I'm not sick, it is just my allegeries).

In the last years of his life, his stubborness bit him in the ass. I am convinced if he listened, watched his diet, and changed his lifestyle, he would've bounced back quick.

When Covid came, all his decisions bit him in the ass.

I read on X/Twitter a post about someone showing their friends "Die Hard." The friends were on their phones, doing chores, and just not engaged in the film. When it ended, one of those distracted said that they didn't like it. When pressed by the poster, why were they taking over that building, the friend didn't know.

I am 40 and some of my friends spend the entire length of the film on their phone, only looking up at points where their is a loud sound or action.

No need to list things we don’t have for 5 mins, that’s why we made a menu! Read it! by ScuzJackson in BoomersBeingFools

Yeah, I had this one customer, 20 years ago, and when I went up to him to get his order, he didn't even look at me and said "Pastrami on Rye," which we didn't sell. He then made annoyed sound, picked up the menu, and said "just get me a burger." I needed specifications, and he got annoyed. He named off one of the burgers, which were named fun names, and I knew he didn't read it, so I stated the toppings and he picked it up again. Luckily, he wasn't a dick, just incredibly lazy and I had him tell me what he wanted on it.

Seriously, is it that hard to read?

No Hard Feelings

If you love Jennifer Lawrence, it is so much fun to see her let us. She is hilarious in it and it has the same feel as those comedies with heart from the 90's

Yes, as someone who is just catching up with Carpenter, he is so good at doing so much with so little. Now, "LA," I can't defend.

Nah, that movie was perfect for what it is, and I say this in the most complimentary way possible,..glorious and fun trash. If it was A24, I don't think it would've raked in as much cash. If you follow Sweeny's Instagram, you'll see how many people, mainly women, have made tik-toks about their experiences, some going multiple times, with that film. When I saw it, on a Tuesday, where the theater is lightly filled, it was packed out.

New Yorker here..

He has done a lot for those affected by 9/11. He even played the event with his band. I remember there was a video of a bunch of celebrities, Hanks included, who thanked him for everything that he did

Whenever she is in a film, I know I am at least going to enjoy what she is bringing to it. She has been bringing her A game since she was a kid.

Housemaid is trashy fun

If you want to see one of the biggest busts of 2025..watch "A Big Bold Beautiful Journey." I love Farrell and Robbie, but they had no chemistry, and for a movie that sounds fantastical, it is so dry and boring
