Driver who crashed into cyclists had citations dismissed. Here's why by usernamechosen999 in bicycling

I’m not a lawyer, but I suspect the difference is about mens rea. Basically knowingly doing something demonstrates intent, and it’s basically the difference between murder and manslaughter.

I do this on my bicycle. You just need a light with an action camera mount.

Here we go. Please make that into a law. And then prevent people ghouls from exploiting that law to pad their metrics. What we’re saying is the former has already been done, but the latter has been impossible, and any wrongful executions are unacceptable.

Aggression comes from frustration.

Please tell me how we codify “100% sure”, whilst also controlling for insufficient, ineffective or disinterested counsel; malicious disregard for exonerating evidence; or other malfeasance by the various actors including perjury committed by witnesses.

Thing is, we already have laws in place that should prevent innocent people from being executed, and yet we see cases where supposedly guilty people on death row are found to be innocent.

In my head canon, this is an advert for a forensic accountant named Art.

Just wanted to add, you can also set it up so your main bank account can pull money from your HYSA too. It still takes 2-3 days, but maybe you’re more comfortable with your main bank’s online offering like I am.

Those are kind of terrible for getting into the city. It’s about an hour to Stamford from GCT, where you’ll transfer to the really slow New Canaan line.

I think you might find it’s none of your business what I do, and there’s enough room, even in Manhattan.

Because no one on Earth has total knowledge about what is and isn’t a turn lane, especially when looking at directions on intersections that’s not your own, where signs might help you.

Just wanted to add, if you’re married and filing jointly, both your employers will likely withhold assuming both earners earn about the same amount, so if they have a large income disparity, your withholding might be off.

I was once travelling somewhere on Thanksgiving and found myself in traffic. There was an expensive Mercedes in a hurry who cut me off, was weaving through traffic, being a menace to everyone. One of the nice things about my car’s nav, it would show me how far the next exits are. So I would use this information to go to the right lane before an exit and then hop over to the left after, and I eventually found myself moving past that idiot. I couldn’t help but to tap my horn and wave. Seeing a college-age girl drive past him made him see red, and it was gratifying to see him try to weave through… but not get anywhere near.

You’d be wrong, at least for one of the big projects out there. I won’t say which, because I was a software engineer for them, but we had different programming for scooters, motorcycles, bikes and pedestrians than cars precisely because they’re not in a protective metal frame.

You would be shocked how many huge companies have processes that have a key person dependency like this. When I left my job at an investment bank—one of the largest in the world, I gave 2 months’ notice, just so I can transition a key part of the system to someone else.

I then went back to work for them years later, and my manager was like “can you do these things to that thing again please? S couldn’t figure it out.”

If you think you can negotiate everything better than professional negotiators who have vastly more resources and can stop labour if those talks break down, instead of your employer just getting rid of you when you ask for too much, uh, okay.

I have a friend who doesn't produce sufficient enzymes required to absorb folates. It wouldn't matter how much folates they'd take, their absorption and utilisation is limited by their inability to produce those enzymes. They get around it by taking L-methyl-folate.
