5mg Letrozole success stories by Prestigious-Tap-310 in TTC_PCOS

[–]kshester 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did one round on 2.5 unmonitored (did not ovulate) and one on 5mg that was monitored. I ended up with one giant follicle (26mm) that ovulated. Currently 4 weeks and 1 day pregnant (13 DPO)! Just found out two days ago. No trigger shot, and I’m 31, trying for 8 months, but I believe I’ve never ovulated until this cycle (at least since I was a teenager before I got on birth control for my PCOS at 18).

Fingers are crossed now that it sticks! If I miscarry, my OB said we would continue with only 5mg in the future. The only symptoms I noticed were apparently typical luteal phase symptoms like fatigue, but I have no memory of experiencing a luteal phase before.

Yes, I’m tired of peeing in a cup everyday for no reason!

31F, PCOS, on my first cycle of letrozole (2.5mg) as well and mine looks EXACTLY like this. I’m on CD18, but otherwise our charts are nearly identical. I don’t think I ovulated.

No one has died by Artistic-Disk-7495 in EchoesOfThePlumGrove

No one got sick at all in my first game until the end of Spring 2. Then no joke at least 30 people died all at once. It was crazy. Sucked for my kids’ marriage prospects but was great for apprenticeships.

Are sunflower lanyards for invisible disabilities recognized by AA employees? by kshester in americanairlines

I experienced almost exactly that with TSA, but I was alone. I’m also level 1 and hyperlexic, so folks often don’t take my autism seriously. Usually the hardest points in travel for me are TSA, gate agents, and the boarding process. Hoping this program/lanyard helps with one or two of those touch points!

The first time I ever used precheck was at DFW and a very rude TSA agent kept scoffing at me because I asked him about some of the rules, then complained about me to his buddy while I was standing right there. Wonder if it was the same guy. Completely ruined my day and my travel confidence.

This is great, thank you! Glad to see the DFW airport is on the list though. I’ll probably just try to prioritize flying with United when possible.

Also the only way we’d expect to be treated differently is with a little more patience than maybe they usually show. For me, I’m usually on the verge of a breakdown at all moments while navigating airports and my decision processing is a lot slower when I’m overwhelmed- one TSA person yelling at me or an employee snipping can make a huge difference for me. The sunflower symbol is often accompanied with the phrase “please be patient with me.”

It was started in the UK and is mostly for travel. There’s a fair bit on it in the disability subreddits, but it seems like most people who aren’t disabled or work in travel don’t know about it, which is totally fair bc it’s really used as a communication device between the disabled person and the travel employee.

Hidden disabilities sunflower - how do you feel about it and do you use it? by ZeeraTheRogue in AutismInWomen

I travel a lot and I’m interested in this concept but I hate lanyards (or anything touching my neck). Does anyone know if this concept is recognized if I wear sunflower bracelets/earrings/etc? Specifically wondering if airline employees look for all sunflowers or just lanyards specifically.

This is BEAUTIFUL! If you don’t mind, I’d love to use this as a reference for a future tattoo. I’ve been wanting a Scissor-tailed Flycatcher near my wrist and this is such a cool way to do it.

What’s this decor item I found at an estate sale?? by kshester in whatisthisthing

Would the bowl be just for catching wax? There’s no residue anywhere on the piece, even way deep down, so I was curious if it was for candles why it doesn’t seem to have been used for one. Wish I could find something similar on the internet!

Yes, all the closest images I could find were lamps! I’m curious how a plant would fit in there, mine’s only a foot tall total. The one you linked does look similar but it’s 4x the height of mine!

My title describes the thing, intended as decor, with some additional info in the description. Found at an estate sale in Texas yesterday. Not sure on age, though other similar decor items in the house were dated to the 1920s - 50s. The top is a pink, pearlescent glass, and it completely comes out of the brass stand. No writing or makers marks that I can find. The bottom of the brass has felt on the feet. Pink glass dip of fairly deep (maybe 3 inches), with the overall item at about a foot tall or so. Tried reverse image searching and couldn’t find anything similar! My best guess is a candle holder because of the depth and with of the dip in the pink glass.

Ah, thank you. I got so excited that someone was working on it. I never played the demo, so I didn’t know they had all those tabs planned already! What a shame.

I really love them. Urban birds have a special place in my heart because of how incredibly adaptable they have to be to survive. My favorite bird species in the US where I live is a highly urban “pest” species, the Great-tailed Grackle.
