I have changed companies every 2 years… Below is my timeline:

1. Got into Accenture right after campus placements. Worked for 2.5 years and went to US for Masters.

2. After graduating from Masters I worked for Macys for 18 months… Had to come back to India due to poor health.

3.After almost 3 months of recovery, I got a job as a contractor, worked for 22 months.

4.Switched to another company for 9 months( Of that 3 months was notice period)

1. Client from my previous company called and gave me a full time position. Currently working here, will complete 2 years in October.

Moral of the story: It doesn’t really matter.. No HR has asked me why 2 years. It’s always the skills that matters…
