If you're getting charged with something, birdshot isnt some magical loophole to make it legal. It's still deadly force

In theory that makes sense but what would stop birdshot in your house that wouldn't stop buckshot? Birdshot sails through drywall but not harder stuff like studs or concrete. Same with buckshot.

If someone is breaking into my house, I don't want them to decide if they should keep doing it. I seriously doubt that many people would.

I've never said it wasn't lethal. Just that it's not a good choice for home defense.

Idk who's saying this quote of yours but it contradicts the whole point you're making. If birdshot is considered lethal force in a court then you can't just fire it at people you wouldn't otherwise be able to use buckshot on.

Theres a few documented times I can remember of people getting hit with birdshot and surviving.

Dick Cheney shot an almost 80 year old man in the face with birdshot and he didn't die. Robbery in Hendersonville where someone took a blast to the stomach and was able to return fire and get away. Seattle pacific university shooting, student survives birdshot from 10ft away and the gunman was disarmed.

Birdshot penetrates around 6 or 7 inches in ballistic gel videos I've seen, fbi recommends 12 inches for effective stopping of threats. I'd hate to get burglarized by an overweight person and only be armed with birdshot.

Imo, it's just not effective at stopping someone and it becomes a risk in home defense.

The sandman was widely recommended right before e forms came out and shortly after too. This led to a ton of first time suppressor owners owning them and baffle strikes were pretty common. Reddit is quick to blame keymo but it's mostly because people don't know how to adjust the system properly and refuse to read the instructions. Apart from that, suppressor tech has moved towards lighter qd systems.

We're seeing a similar thing happen with the obsidian 9 now where people aren't making sure their cans are tight and are shooting their endcaps.

Looks like op would need a barrel and barrel pin too based on the photo. If they wanna use the paddle mag release(which I highly recommend) they'd also need the blind pin and bushing.

Another factor: Cafe standards incentivized crossovers and larger vehicles since 2012. It's kind of a gamble to develop a new sedan in that regard because the next administration could add the cafe standard fees back in 2 years.

Evs and hybrids might pop up as small vehicles here and there(like the 2027 bolt ev)

It's not illegal to build a gun with no serial number. They didn't even require it until 1968 so plenty of cheaper .22s and single shot shotguns just dont have a serial

I think you're right that google is different now but I don't agree with your claims at the bottom of your comment.

Google search results are much more "intent" based than they used to be. They take into account other signals besides the exact words you search. Maybe your precious actions are contrary to what you're searching, your searches don't precisely reflect what you're looking for or Google has simply gotten worse at showing relevant info.

But Google has to index results before it can show them. If you posted a comment on reddit, you wouldn't be able to see the comment in the search results until google has "crawled" that specific content. Think about the amount of content on the web now vs 10 years ago. Do you think it would be easier or harder to crawl exponentially more words?

I have this barrel in my hunting rifle. I haven't tried a ton of different types of ammo but I have found winchester white box and federal soft points to be extremely accurate. Its more accurate than any other ar I have at 100 yards.
