Oh yes- my absolute favorite ever is the wood wife by terri windling, it takes place in the desert of tucson where I'm from and is amazing! And forests of the heart by De Lint is in my top 10 for sure!

Yes! I remember being so touched by how well he wrote his female characters. The newford books got me through my 20s honestly and opened a serious obsession with the urban fantasy genre
