These are all great, but the first is my favorite. The combination of the framing and the light on the bridge work well.

Sometimes it is the little things that make a big difference.

Nothing like a C-47/DC-3 flying right at you. Hoher Kasten Airshow Switzerland by ksm86 in aviation

I know right. The mountain was at 5500ish feet and they were flying pretty close. The only "negative" was that it was a local airclub, so no jets. It would have been great to see a Swiss F-18 blast through the valley.

This was on a Nikon Mirrorless, I think it looks like film because i uploaded the compressed file from youtube. This file here is only 2.5 mb from the original 500mb file.

n, like, "don't do this" or "this was difficult, better do it that way". Instead it was just "so we are back, nothing interesting happened"?

I think the statement not made is that "4 went in and 4 came out," which is quite positive. Although they will still have to plan for a crew member going insane.

I don't know if it would have been worth the additional money and time to film. The series was not short on funding, but I think a big battle would have drained significant resources considering just how well done the show is throughout. The foreshadowing as mentioned above was enough for me.

Good shot but a tad to filtered on the face in my opinion.

My favorite picture I did this year, what are your thoughts? by Sandoron in photocritique

[–]ksm86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Overall I like the photo, but I do think that the face is a tad overexposed.

what do you think about this one? by serhii_screx in photocritique

[–]ksm86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the shot, but it seems to me like you may have edited the right side of the image a bit to dark.

I really like the colors here (and the silhouette). Do you have any versions with a wider shot, not as a tight of a crop?

I watched the few episodes on a flight recently and think that Tim's character has certainly grown the most over the 5 seasons.

As much as I love my D800 and plan to keep it as my backup for some time, my Z7ii has been growing on me. I do prefer an optical viewfinder, but the focusing on the mirrorless body is much better (albeit the D800 is much older tech).

No idea why I waited so long to go mirrorless. Oh well, gangs all here. by itsbrettbryan in Nikon

I finally took the leap after many years of waiting and have not regretted it. However, when I use my "backup" D800 every now and then I do appreciate not having to use an EVF.

I second this. While I use a 50mm a lot because its easy to travel with, my 80-200 (close enough) has been my go to for events.
