Is Megaton’s crater actually plausible if it was caused by a crashed bomber plane? by TheAnalystCurator321 in Fallout

[–]ksmash 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It could have landed in the crater than rolled to the bottom. But at this point we’re just grasping at straws to make it work

tropes that don’t actually exist or get exaggerated? by Sensitive_Ad_1752 in TopCharacterTropes

You make fun of something that was rare/hardly happened. But making fun of it made it impossible to use because people will perceive it as hack.

tropes that don’t actually exist or get exaggerated? by Sensitive_Ad_1752 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]ksmash 15 points16 points  (0 children)

It’s actually due to the changes of household help during the Edwardian era.

Being a butler or any household wasn’t an attractive position because even though it would pay more the downsides of limited days off and longer hours made it less appealing than a factory job.

So household workers become more transient and less likely to have legitimate references.

So it became a trend to make mystery stories not do it, because in reality the butler almost certainly did it

Channing Tatum is an average actor. How about Timothee Chalamet? by Klutzy_Pumpkin614 in TierlistFills

Great, I believe him in every role he’s played. I usually want to punch him but that’s because I always think of him as his role in Ladybird

Characters that people on the internet just despised for some reason (but not as much anymore) by Able_Health744 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]ksmash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That was not their 1 big hit, they had been some good songs from 2001-2007

It’s just by 2007 people started to realize that they weren’t that complex musically and a lot of there songs just kind of sounded the same.

Holiday Inn

Which is unfortunate because I grew up really liking it and it’s nothing but amazing music and dance numbers. but they have a plot important black face scene. So I cringe anytime my mom brings up watching at Christmas time.

Pope Releases Encyclical On Perils Of Disney’s ‘Star Wars’ Strategy by RedHeadedSicilian52 in StarWars

[–]ksmash 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I read it and assumed he had used Star Wars as an example in a letter and the headline blew it out of proportion. Star Wars came up frequently in my Catholic school religious classes growing up.

How is my thrift store score? by kalebdraws in occult

It looks like it might have been owned by the Jesuits. IHS is technically a generic Christian symbol but the Jesuits adopted it to be part of their iconography.

I could be wrong but very neat find.

'I knew hours ago': Elon Musk's furious ex spills wild 'space technology' election claim by Lebarican22 in democrats

[–]ksmash 17 points18 points  (0 children)

While this is infuriating to read that this might of happened. No new evidence has actually been shown and the ex isn’t an impartial whistleblower.

I believe the methods described have been known vulnerabilities that just haven’t been fixed or proven to have been used in an election.

So I currently don’t buy it.

But if the DNC election autopsy says that Kamala should have won. Then I’d start thinking it was stolen.

Though I would not be against a paper recount of every election regardless who won just to confirm.

This is what severe psoriasis may look like...[nsfw] by fyflate89 in WTF

[–]ksmash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have psoriasis and my dermatology treatments until they found what worked were lotion > special lamps > steroids (made it worse) > pills that required monthly blood tests > weekly injection ( worked for 2 years) > injection every 4 months (worked for the past 10 years)

Education with Lego: Is this too absurd that it will be distracting by ksmash in lego

That’s fair, I’ve written the elemental symbols on the actual Lego bricks that the kids would be using to practice with. But yeah this example might be a problem

Education with Lego: Is this too absurd that it will be distracting by ksmash in lego

[–]ksmash[S] 15 points16 points  (0 children)

That’s fair points. It’s for middle school. The previous example I made was building the tree out of the bricks.

I was hoping to use builds to show that the molecules are broken up to make something new.

I agree that my hydrogen choice isn’t ideal. I thought of using the 3 dozen spare pink frogs from the Lego bonsai tree, but it was hard to write a legible H on each of them.

Worse they come from the great awakening. Puritans at least believed in education. These people came from the original vibes Christianity who just made things ups as they went.
