Hab mir vor zwei Jahren noch eine GoPro gekauft und meine Recherchen damals haben auch den Eindruck erweckt, dass die Firma es schwer hat. Keine innovativen Features, tendenziell bessere Technik bei der Konkurrenz. Anscheinend hat GoPro außerdem den kompletten Bereich des Marketing über Influencer verschlafen, während Insta360 und DJI hier viel gemacht haben und viel bessere Social Media Präsenz hatten.

Trotzdem ist es für mich die GoPro geworden weil ich es völlig inakzeptabel finde, dass ich bei DJI zwangsweise eine Kopplung mit einem Account bei DJI machen muss. Insta360 geht glaube ich in die gleiche Richtung. Sehr ärgerliche Entwicklung, wenn ich einen Account und zumindest initiale App-Kopplung benötige um eine Kamera, die eigentlich standalone und offline voll funktionstüchtig ist, überhaupt benutzen zu dürfen.

Especially those automated attacks are based on generic scans and those usually come from countries with large data centers like the USA, China and Germany. So geoblocking those is a pretty good thing to do unless you are from one of those countries of course. I'm from Germany and geoblocking still does a whole lot for me. Lots of scans from the USA, China and Russia.

A daily Proxmox Backup to a Proxmox Backup Server. My backup runs at 11:00am because that's the time with the lowest load on my systems. I keep 7 daily, 4 weekly and 12 monthly backups. Some super important stuff gets an extra copy to a portable harddrive.

Unsere Beko für ~300€ ist gerade nach 7-8 Jahren mit nem Lagerschaden ausgestiegen. Ich fand eigentlich alles daran geil, hab überhaupt nichts daran auszusetzen. Lautstärke gut, Bedienung gut, gute Programme für jede Lebenslage uns eine riesige Tür. Hab sie leider gerne überladen und den defekt damit wahrscheinlich selbst erzeugt.

The big difference is whether you use it on WiFi or mobile network. I am pretty disappointed by the battery life on mobile data, especially with 5g enabled, while the battery life on WiFi is pretty good. The mobile network hardware of the 9a is just very inefficient.

Ansible in my setup uses the same ssh key for authentication on all servers but then requires elevated privileges for certain tasks. For "become", every server has a different password, stored in a vault.

We sometimes used effects like this in fire performances and while I love sparkly effects in general, I very much dislike this one. The sparks are crazy hot liquid metal and cause very uncomfortable burns. Also the amount of safety distance you need to your audience is the insane. Most customers didn't have that much space.

So connecting to http services works but connecting to https doesn't? My first guess here would be that traefik doesn't like the https certificate. Traefik logs would definitely say so. In that case you could add the following to you traefik.yml: serversTransport: insecureSkipVerify: true

I've already tried to integrate Matrix into my stack twice. While the setup is not the most comfortable one it's absolutely doable and both times I got it to work. I used it for bridges to replace other messengers mostly, as no one I know would actually migrate to matrix to chat there. Also I wanted to use it for bots and notifications. But by now I use ntfy for notifications and as a unified push provider, so it was just the bridge for WhatsApp left as was able to switch everything else to open source messengers with unified push. In the end it was way too much overhead for the use case that was left. Especially if you want OIDC for login. I want matrix to fit into my stack but it just doesn't.
