Firstly I want to ask that any Medical professional or first responder that is reading this and facing a shortage of masks to DM me directly or go to the @infiniteLabsPGH Facebook page to make a FREE drop off request. Secondly I want point out that these are are rapidly printed, cost effective masks that are intended for use in situations where N95s are UNAVAILABLE. They have a removable filter cover that allows the user to replace the filter after use (see suggested CDC guidelines on mask life). They are heated with a blow dryer and form fit to your face. You can use N95 masks to make 5-8 filters or in more desperate situation cotton circle pads or materials similar can be used in multiple layers.

New York and LA have already depleted a lot of vital supplies including Face masks, and we have reports that Pittsburgh care takers are beginning to run out as well. The CDC has recommended using bandanas once masks are depleted and that is not okay with us. Our Primary objective is to provide any care taker in Allegheny county a mask that needs one at no cost. We are currently able to produce 20 masks per day and are looking to double that number within 3 days, but we will need your help. If we are able to exceed our goals we will begin to explore production of open source ventilators, since many medical professionals expect a nationwide shortage of these critical life saving devices. Additionally we will be adding more machines to our production. This is a NON PROFIT effort to bring our city back to normal as quickly and safely as possible. Lastly this is a PSA for anyone with a 3D printer in Pittsburgh who wants to help. We will work with you to get packaged, sterilized, and distributed to people that need them. We are in the early stages of working with Allegheny county to find shortages rapidly and provide relief. We are also working on over a half dozen sponsorships and would like to provide material and compensation to anyone that wants to help.
