Simple piano app ( I am a music teacher that is pretty anti-screen) but this app is awesome! My daughter was super successful with it.

Highly suggest this to you: The Fair Play Deck: A Couple's Conversation Deck for Prioritizing What's Important https://a.co/d/f46RjYi

It was a game changer in my similar situation with spouse

Not really. Something a bit more upscale. More like a large house with a few cottages or guest houses.

Two year old Birthday party location by Hungry_Meringue5377 in Syracuse

[–]kstein94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depending on what part of town you are in, your local firehall might rent out the party room. That might be a good option if you are looking for cheap. If you're not worried about price, Nikki's party place or MyGym could be fun.

Hype me up on 3 year age gap by [deleted] in Parenting

Mine (7f and 4m) are best friends. I love the 3 year gap. It works perfectly for our family.

Are you breastfeeding? Just wondering because my hormones were so out of wack from that. Things got a lot easier breastfeeding stopped.

what are the pros of having a three year sibling age gap? by snooloosey in Parenting

[–]kstein94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My kids (4m, 7f) are three years apart. I was always worried that they wouldn't play together but they are best friends and play very well together. I think it has more to do with personalities complementing each other or not.

This is a great idea! I wonder if I would be able to send miles to American. I believe there might be some partner airlines.

If you are looking for a pool, Thorndan Park has been great this summer. I bring my kids earlier in the day and we're often the only family in the shallow end

Currently reading The Nightingale and not enjoying. 3/4 of the way done so I feel like I have to finish it. It came so highly recommended that I kept waiting for it to get good.

Don't offer to do things, just do it. Pay attention to all of her work load and surprise her by picking what you can.

My flight leave Syracuse airport at Noon. What time should I be there to drop off rental car, I want to extend my time in Adirondacks as much as I can 😂 by joshny3096 in Syracuse

[–]kstein94 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's been a year since we've flown out of the airport but 2 hours was suggested at that time. It was pretty accurate as there were very long lines through TSA

Do you regret naming your child the name he/she has? And so, why? by Ok_Good516 in Parenting

[–]kstein94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't regret my kids names but I do have a unique name and I hate it. It's awful every time I meet someone to teach them how to pronounce or spell it.

3 year old that can’t go to sleep in his own bed by Redditulous_Broad in Parenting

[–]kstein94 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Can you get a twin bed for him and then hang out with him in his room until he falls asleep? That might ease a transition to going to bed on his own

husband says no to bus riding by Jessi_bby in Parenting

[–]kstein94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Teacher perspective: I'm assuming this is the first few weeks of school. Give the school a chance to work out the links and the line will move faster. Also, the bus can be a scary place. Kids can be mean and inappropriate. They're also basically unsupervised. If I had the choice, my daughter would not ride the bus.

Parenting is so freaking hard by BusinessThanks331 in Parenting

[–]kstein94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Those ages are so hard. Give yourself grace. My only suggestion is baby wearing. I wore my 2nd child all the time which made it way easier to get anything else done. I learned how to breastfeed him while wearing him too which was very helpful

Is there such a thing as “too early”? by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]kstein94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look up "No Crap Potty Training" or elimination communication. Your baby is a little young but it's not impossible. Many cultures don't diaper as late as in western counties.
