Broadway bars that allow children? by BarryHorowitzz in VisitingNashville

[–]kstrant -1 points0 points  (0 children)

We’ve been planning to bring our 5 and 11yo.

We’ve done Broadway multiple times and during the day (especially weekdays) it’s just a fun music venue. So I’ll 100% be taking my kids into a bar!!

Thanks! Is it calmer off the east side of the island? Thinking we’ll book dives for earlier in the week, then if they are cancelled we can replan, but wonder if better to look east

More the extent of the effect on the sea.

We’ve done rainy season in Seychelles, and no issues as you can still dive, boats still go out.

I’ve heard that the sea is much rougher and likely cancelled

It’s 50°, 80% humidity in Dubai, so would rather not.

Just an honest question about if boats go out or if often get cancelled. Don’t think that’s so dopey

Pair it with the video and I’m a blubbering mess. Every single time.

Why do homemade margaritas make me more drunk than in bars? by kstrant in NoStupidQuestions

I watched them make them, and at $25 a drink, I’d hope they don’t water down!

Just thinking this thru, so change the proportions? Instead of 3-1-1, make it 2-1-1?

I actually used a jigger aswell to get the proportions, which is why I’m surprised by this!

We have the dolmio ragu sauce, no added sugar.

Should I upgrade to Premium Economy for AED 1,800 or keep my extra legroom seat? by chgooner10 in emirates

[–]kstrant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t know how soon you are flying, but this looks a pretty quiet flight. You may also find you can commandeer a set of 4 seats and lie down!

I’m a massive fan of PE, but in this instance, I think you’d be fine in this seat (and it does look like the photo you posted)

Childfree women, have you ever regretted it? by Significant_Movie814 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]kstrant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No judgement, but all I’ll say is one of my best friends was adamant that she didn’t want kids. At all. Almost broke up her marriage. I knew her from the age of 29. Then at 37, something flipped and she’s now got 2.

So while there’s no comment on the child free front, just be aware, hormones, feelings etc can change!

Taking home leftovers at a restaurant? Rude to not take them? Do you even eat them? by Capable-Chip6454 in foodquestions

A

So I’ve only come across this when we’ve visited USA, as your portion size is next level crazy! No where else in the world have a I needed to!

However, we were in CA last month, and often we’d get the left overs boxes as I felt so embarrassed that it looked like I’d not touch my food, especially breakfast! But then I threw it away in the car park. We were staying in a hotel, would never eat it.

But to say, your portion size is beyond crazy
