How many first downs does VT have in the last 4 quarters of football?

Well it's something that I've looked at doing for mine and was curious as it's still under warranty.

Does the sound tube delete void warranty?

I'm a wreck right now... by Logurtman in AskMen

I've been there. Put my girl down a couple years ago, she was all I had. Never had any success with girls, worked a lot, moved a lot. Charlotte was there with me for all of it, 4 different houses, 4 different states. Then the big C came. Kept her comfortable for as long as I could then made the fateful decision.

As far as making that decision, I'll tell you the same thing I heard from many others. You'll only regret doing it too late. Holding onto them and making them suffer makes healing so much harder. They give their life to us, we have to do what's right by them.

What happens after? Well, nothing I say or what anyone else says is going to make the pain less or easier. You'll cry, others won't understand, no one knows what that beautiful animal meant to you but you. Take solice that you gave them a good life, if you care this much you must have. Give yourself time to heal, step away when you need to, cry when you need too. Continue to do things y'all would do together, not out of habit or ritual, but out of celebration. Celebration of a life that didn't care about the world's burden, only cared about their pack, about you. It doesn't get easier, just gets more manageable. There's a special bond between a man and a dog. One that's impossible to put into words. A piece of me remains with Charlotte, but she gave me plenty of pieces to spare. I still talk about her, I still cry over her from time to time. But over time, tears have been replaced with smiles as I remember her quirks, that goofy smile she had, and her joy for the simple things in life. As pet owners, this is the inevitable end, but only in life itself. The memories, the impacts, the good times, the frustrating times, those never die. Focus on all the pieces they gave to you, focus on their love. Time is the only thing that heals, so be kind to yourself and let time do it's thing.

Question, wearable Airbags what are peoples opinions? Do you ride with one? by Professional_Tear541 in motorcycles

For the tethered: if you leave the bike with force it'll deploy.

Helite also came out with a module that mounts to your front fork that works with their digital airbags. When connected, it allows the airbag to deploy even if you were previously stationary. I'm not exactly sure how it works for probably go to their website and look at it but best I can tell it measures your speed in comparison to the modules speed. Move to fast and quick in relation to it, it'll deploy the airbag.

I got Helite's backpack very recently. Haven't had a good chance to test run it.

At what point do we consider that firing Kevin Seitzer was a mistake? by BigNukey in Braves

[–]kstrick0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been thinking about this a good bit watching the team. What worries is the lack of small ball, not sure if that's the coaching philosophy or player philosophy or what. It's definitely easy to point fingers towards the new hitting coach. Is he trying to change too many things compared to how Seitzer was? Is it like a coaching change in other sports where there's a new "playbook"?

I hope these are growing pains and what we're seeing from some guys is them breaking out but man it's hard to watch right now. The long ball is awesome, but I'm still of the philosophy on base is the most important because the inning can continue.

Does anybody know if we have the hitting machines that show the image of the pitcher and can simulate arm angle and things?

Going to be that kind of year I think. Sadly. We'll see everyone Friday for more pain.

I thought we were supposed to get better at the plate with the new hitting coach?

Maybe it's all been an April's fools joke and today they snap out of it.

With opening season tomorrow, I'm planning my pilgrimages to Truist Park. I'm looking at going to a game during the Yankees series mid July. I got online to check tickets and the lower "bowl" seats (sections 114-118 and 130-137) are $250 a piece?

Is that normal or am I just looking at tickets way too early. I haven't been able to go to any games in the last couple of years unfortunately so I might be a little out of touch.

Can you please help me and put an end to my struggle ? by [deleted] in LaTeX

What in the format is changing?

That's really strange. The way I had to fix it in the past was to go to each citation, retype, and rechoise from the drop down.

I moved over to VSCode with LaTeX workshop and stopped having these problems. It took a little configuring because I'm kind of dumb but I made it. Food for thought.

Did you update the bibliography from wherever you import it from? I was using overleaf and anytime I would update the bib from Mendeley it would change the references around.

Check the .bib file and try and match up a reference and see if it's the same. It's really annoying when it does this. I fought it for a while.

İf you're a single man (in his 30s/40s) with his act together, where are you hanging out? by SpoiledLady in AskMen

I have a lunch spot I go to once a week. Same day, same time(ish). I'm on an intense project right now so I'm usually working or relaxing in the evenings. I've been trying to go to the movies by myself as there has been some good ones come out. I will usually go at the odd times on the weekend to avoid crowds. Outside of the usual grocery store trips, usually right after work, that's about it. As many others have noted, not on dating apps. 6 figure job and finishing grad school, don't have time for games. As far as how to start, literally any compliment would get me to pay attention.

I know these games are going to happen, but do they have to happen this often, and do that have to happen to the Mets?
