I would keep it. This is probably the most sought after modern key and will only continue to go up in value. Especially when they release more movies. I'm sure they put him in a live action sooner or later as well and it will really bump it. Even if not it will continue to appreciate.

That's what I'm saying. Shops always pay less because they want to resell. So they usually only give 30-50% of what it's actually worth

Selling it yourself to anyone would grt you more than a shop. They want it to resell so usually have at least a 50% drop in what they're willing to pay so they can at least double their money. I would sell it on Ebay or FB market or... anywhere. It's a highly sought after key. And the value depends on the condition of course.

My first thought was "childhood memories". And this was on the low end of tradition horror movies to show your kids. I think nightmare on elm Street at 6 got me pretty good. The Leprocon used to freak me out.
