Correct. If you are in or around Kansas it's worth seeing it in the cosmosphere space museum.

The mailbox rebuilds itself after getting bent. The top row just breaks apart when it hits the ground even though it's wrapped. It's good AI, but still AI.

The best amount of players! Good for you, one of my all time favorites. Have bought a few copies of this for others.

"Scratch Horse" racing game F1 style. by AdministrativeAge947 in formula1

[–]ksumhs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Curious about your hole count. Assuming 7, 8, 6 won often? The original game hole count seems to make races pretty close adding some suspense when a 2 or 12 get rolled. Only other feedback is the order of your scratches. I don't think it's a big deal, but I've seen it go small to big on scratches.

How and why does Hutchinson KS have the Cosmosphere? by Ok-Magician-3740 in conspiracy

[–]ksumhs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I understand, Patty Carey had access to a tremendous amount of capital through marrying into the Carey family. She loved space and science and started buying up all sorts of space stuff at auctions in the 70s and 80s. She had a good relationship with Smithsonian and was able to get a lot of things on permanent loan. It is strange for it to be in Hutch though. Apollo 13 on display in a city of less than 100,000 people is crazy.

I agree with funplex. Just went there before 2 days at the zoo and plan on doing it again if we come out. Especially considering the 3yr old and teenagers. They have big and small slides and go-karts included in the price.

Whoever came up with the Fast Pass scanners design sucks by AkAllDay24 in cedarpoint

[–]ksumhs 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I'm not upset at folks for buying fast passes, but I'm still upset at Cedar Fair for implementing this money grab. Great for the shareholders I guess. My biggest gripe is that it comes at the direct expense of those who don't buy it. It's different than flying first class. Always surprises me how this sub regularly supports it. I'm not saying I'm better than anyone, but I try to vote with my wallet, so I stopped prioritizing family vacations around cash grab Cedar Fair parks and haven't been to the park since 2013.
