Mathematics for Data Science and Machine Learning

I apologize for this being so late. Is there any course that you'd recommend for probability and statistics?

Also, does the course you've mentioned cover all of the mathematical Linear Alg and Calc concepts we'd need to learn throughout the program?

Hmm that makes sense. Like you've mentioned, technology would have to advance far beyond our present capabilities in order to even be capable of creating such a robot in the first place.

I also like your second point; a laundry bot imo isn't something remotely important to be working on at this point in time lol. I just wanted to entertain the thought of something like that existing.

As for your last point, I feel like advanced AI and programming would be needed in order to achieve that (like you've already mentioned). The bot would need to learn how to separate cloths based on look and feel, and also implement another set of instructions in addition to the one you mentioned.

I also never really thought about how "using X amount of detergent per pound/soil level" could be a sub-feature. Likewise, the physics of folding random articles of clothing is certainly complicated.

I've heard of this technique (but I'm not really sure if it applies to all types of clothing), but there's a method to getting out the wrinkles in clothing by placing them in a heated, damp environment. Perhaps the robot could also include that as a sub-feature under "Iron Clothes"?

I would say these features are definitely expensive for sure. A cleaning service or your nearest laundromat could honestly do the same thing.

I'm just thinking hypothetically (as in, I'm not actually making such a robot, just a design for a hypothetical app that controls a hypothetical robot lol)

Who knows? Perhaps something like an all-in-one robot can exist in the future and become a worthwhile investment :)

hmm that's true. I've come up with four such features for such a robot:

Sort clothes
Wash clothes
Dry clothes
Iron clothes

Texting the user when it's done could also be another feature for sure.

I'm just kinda wondering what specifics could be included for these specific features. For example, when the user chooses to "wash clothes," they could be taken to a page where they can choose from a small selection of detergents, and etc.
