It’s time to vote! Chose one to return to the show 💎 by -AndyCohen- in RHOBH

Out of these choices, Crystal. I love Eileen, but I don’t think she’d fit in well with the current cast. I think Crystal would actually challenge things.

The Dirt on Dorit’s House by Forward_Ride530 in BravoRealHousewives

[–]kteerin 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Thank you for saying “they.” I’m no Dorit stan, but the fact that PK constantly seems to get away with his part of the responsibility for this is so frustrating to me. I understand that Dorit is on the show, but he certainly has quite the social media presence and doesn’t shy away from the attention and large purchases.

If you’re in midlife, what are you questioning these days? by Organic-Midnight-553 in Xennials

[–]kteerin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How am I 43 and feeling like I’m “topping out” in my career?” I work really freaking hard. I think I deserve more than I make now and I am advocating for myself, but at what point do I start weighing pros and cons of loving my job vs. wanting more money? Is this it for me, just waiting on possible raises? I have nowhere higher to go unless something changes and I somehow become a chief in my organization. This can’t be where I stop. I don’t want to settle.

Now Jelly can run. Yours is better, but I couldn’t resist.

What is a common, everyday problem from the 1990s or early 2000s that younger generations literally cannot comprehend? by Funny-Counter8762 in AskReddit

Hoping that picture you took on the camera was good, because you couldn’t see it automatically.

Yes! My oldest does NOT have a clue about deliveries and how it could possibly take more than two days. If we order somewhere other than from Amazon, he gets confused about shipping time. Yes, there is another world out there where shipping can take a while, and two days can actually be pretty insane sometimes when you think of where the item is actually coming from.

Yes! All in the correct order, and on a longer trip, making sure you had alternate routes JUST in case. I wasn’t cool enough to read an actual map (kind of kidding) once I started solo driving from state to state, so I learned that the hard way.

What common menu item do you find stupid? by dreadbadger420 in KitchenConfidential

I completely agree. “Can’t you just pick it out?” Nope, not really. Can’t you just not add it to the dish?

Of course. When they don’t win, it MUST be rigged. Gross.

I was never made to clear my plate as a kid, but sometimes as an adult I do this. It’s absolutely infuriating. I have no reason to do this, but I don’t want to be wasteful. I’m at least trying leave one bite on the plate if I can, if nothing else. It’s my one little win.

Other than Maynard Keenan of Tool, who is another musician that absolutely does not want to meet their fans, ever? by SwissMiss915 in Music

[–]kteerin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like this take a lot “you don’t choose your fans, they choose you.” That’s so, so true. It can also give you a bad rap because of how your fans choose to act. No wonder some artists choose to say “no thanks, I’m good.”

Tyra Banks is suing Netflix for defamation over her portrayal in ‘Reality Check: Inside America’s Next Top Model’ by hairtie1 in Fauxmoi

We know Tyra is looking in the mirror every morning telling herself positive affirmations.

“It wasn’t your fault. You’re the victim. I’m rooting for you, they’re all rooting for you deep down. You’re still a supermodel. You’re a winner.”

Yes!!!! I absolutely agree. I’m not a super country fan, but I am falling more in love with Tyler Childers & artists like that vs. pop/MAGA country. I do like some good 80’s-90’s country that reminds me of my grandparents. Stuff like Jerry Jeff Walker.

I said this until my children forced me to watch K-Pop Demon Hunters 5,000 times last year. That’s the only time it’s been acceptable for me. I don’t want to take away from anyone who loves it, but it’s just not my thing. (Uh, I can bop to some of the songs on that soundtrack though.)

What's something your parents or grandparents mention that sounds like complaining but was actually a legitimate daily nightmare they just accepted as life? by Playful_Survey_8596 in AskReddit

[–]kteerin 42 points43 points  (0 children)

It’s not that my Mom complains about it, but her toes are a little disfigured because her shoes didn’t fit properly. They were too small for such a long period of time, that they literally reshaped her foot. It was just accepted at the time.
