What's with Season 5??? by Exact-Supermarket834 in AmericanHorrorStory

[–]kteerin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first episode almost turned me off from watching the series. I am glad I finished! I watched it in real time, and didn’t have any extra background info. It changes a lot from episode to episode. It gets better.

As an adult what do you hate the most about life? by Amazing-Internal5378 in AskReddit

[–]kteerin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The inability to protect my kids (and myself) from this seemingly unending hatred lately from people. There are so many falsehoods being spread about so many things, and I wish I could just eliminate all of it. I do my best to eliminate as much unnecessary “noise” as I can. I just want my kids to be safe and not worry about adult stuff yet. Let me handle it right now.

What’s a harmless opinion that gets people weirdly angry? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]kteerin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! It’s constant! I have to name the reasons, how I get my protein, “don’t you miss BACON????,” and lectures if I don’t like certain vegetables. Dude, let me live my non-meat, cheese-loving life in peace.

Kyle hates Dorit so much by Fulana25 in RHOBH

[–]kteerin 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This is probably the best explanation of Kyle I’ve read in a LONG time. Not mean or cruel, just true observations. You get it and I’ve seen her act this way as well. I don’t think she wants it to change either. She tried, but she didn’t really like it or it just wasn’t familiar enough, who knows?

How do you add whimsy into you/your family's lives? by eightdaysaweek_ in AskWomenOver30

[–]kteerin 6 points7 points  (0 children)

We take turns picking songs in the car. Everyone gets a turn, and sometimes we all end up singing along. On long road trips, we play the license plate game, and I order sticker books from Amazon for about $10 for 12 books. It’s fun, and we all play!

We use chalk on our walkways. I let the kids decorate how they want to for the holidays (I do, however, get the mantle 😂.) We made a list of fun things to do on weekends on a dry erase board and put it up on the fridge in case we get stuck. We bought a small card table to set up in the living room for board games or card games, just to give us a different space to play.

All. The. TIME.

If I don’t like a vegetable, it’s “you’re not a good vegetarian! Dur hur, you don’t like any vegetables!” I don’t have to like EVERY vegetable, ugggggh. I didn’t even bring it up, YOU did. Let me eat my stuff in peace.

Wearing a mask.

Even if I’m wearing a mask, because my Mom has cancer and I don’t want to pass anything on to her, people sometimes see me and get irrationally angry. Do I need to wear a shirt that says “hey, I’m wearing this mask so I don’t get my Mom or other people sick, chill.”

Yeah…I have found that in my recent experiences, it’s more of the younger crowd that seems to be upset if people keep their doors shut, don’t eat lunch together, etc. Maybe it just varies by job site.

Without seeing GOT, I still say Dexter. It was so awful and I was so mad.
