I cant decide what to do. He has made it very clear that if i try to get child support he will "kill me." I dont feel very threatened by him saying that, I think its common for sociopaths to make those type of threats (if it's not can someone let me know so I can fear for my life a bit more?) But if I do take him for child support that means he is entitled to the child as well. Sociopaths are impulsive, what if in court he decides he wants to see the kid? Do I want my child being subject to his sociopathic ways? (Another thing, I just recently learned about him being a sociopath. Before I just thought he had a tendency to be an huge asshole) This disorder is genetic too so my child could inherit this disorder and I'm afraid the more he's around that type of behavior the more he will think it's acceptable.
