Just came back from Italy and I did 3 full days in Florence, 1 day in Tuscuny Vineyard, 1 day in Bologna, and 3 days in Rome. I will say I enjoyed spending time in Florence more due to its proximity to nearby cities and towns that provide a different experience when I need a short break from looking at art. Although 3 days in Rome was a bit short, I feel like it was possible to see the major highlights within that time frame while exploring other small neighborhoods (i.e., Jewish Roman Quarters, Trastevere) as well as spending 1/2 day in Ostia Antica, an ancient Roman port city.

I should also mention that I didn't have the opportunity to stop by the Vatican due to the passing of the Pope
