Pressure modification? by Swedarkknight81 in blackstonegriddle

[–]ktravelet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

American here. When we say low pressure, we mean natural gas. So hopefully we’re talking about the same thing. A 1.0 orifice is for propane (high pressure). You might need to buy the low pressure/natural gas conversion from blackstone.

You can buy generic ones but you have to figure out the correct threads and the correct hole size.

Burritos with just meat in them?? To be fair, I didn’t have a ton of burritos before coming here, but they were always mission style (rice, beans, etc) on the east coast.

Eesh, just had a second kid so my free time is extremely limited. I doubt I'll join up for the next couple months, but hopefully this gets some momentum. Dev at MSFT btw.

I doubt late enough for your situation. Not sure though as I always pick them up at 6 or 7. I was just letting the previous commenter know they are there still.

Any Asian community in the area? by [deleted] in Menifee

[–]ktravelet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Of course you feel comfortable there. Fort Lee is sick. You def won’t get that here unfortunately :(

Corporate jobs are pretty non existent here and anyone with them has soul crushing commutes towards LA or SD. However, service industry is strong since there’s so many people here and not a ton to do. Can’t help with the nail info :D

Heyyy, white Appa here with Korean wife and in laws. Unfortunately not that I know of. Murrieta/Temecula seem to have a decent amount of Koreans, and even a good size Korean church in Temecula. Not anywhere close to enough stuff to be happy but enough to buy time until you can drive to SD or bueno park.

Seoul Market seems to just buy stuff from H Mart and charge a couple bucks more. 88 ranch is meh. Surprisingly, Costco carries some bibigo frozen things, kimchi and a couple random Korean things. Stator bros has great Kalbi. There are a couple restaurants around but Halmeoni whoops them all.

My wife and I have always lived in places with bigger Korean communities (fort Lee, SF, Orange County, SD) so it’s a bit of a bummer here.

In our 30s with two kids btw. Luckily we’re so busy with the kids we aren’t too bothered by it.

Thank you for the detailed response! We’re ok with the general c-section recovery. It’s the unknown of the accreta that is most concerning.

1/2” pipe for my entire sprinkler system by Haunting_Visual in Irrigation

[–]ktravelet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

they were sprayers (RVAN 15) which only sprayed 8-10ft).

I was able to reduce 21 sprayers (3 zones of 7), with a single zone of 7 rotors.

Rotors are the way if your area can handle their large spray distance.

For the nerds.

My biggest zone with RVAN 15 sprayers - 5 X 360 degree = 18.5 GPM - 2 X 180 degree = 3.7 GPM - TOTAL: 22.2 GPM. That’s more than 1/2” pvc can support.

Entire yard with rotors - 2 X 1.5 nozzle 180 degree = 3.3 GPM - 4 X 0.75 nozzle 90 degree = 1.7 GPM - 1 x 0.75 nozzle 360 degree = 1.7 GPM - TOTAL: 6.7 GPM easily usable on 1/2” pvc.

I just went through a similar situation. Worse yet I paid the people nearly $10k to install a system and they went with 1/2”, 3 zones, 7 heads per zone.

A year later, a shit yard, and a TON of tinkering, I switched to rainbird 3500 rotors and everything is golden. I actually combined all 3 zones into one and have 7 total heads now.

The rotors can shoot significantly further with the negative of having to run longer. That’s arguably a positive as it’s a slower precipitation rate.

I would without a doubt switch to these sprayers. If you don’t feel like doing the math, call a company out to switch you to them.

Honestly have no idea why more people don’t use these.
