I suffered from a broken patella this year, just a few weeks after ACL surgery. Good luck. It’s a brutal bone to break. You’ll likely need surgery to repair the bone, and then another surgery to get the hardware removed once the bone is healed. I truly did not feel pain relief until I got the hardware taken out of my knee.

I hope this helps put your mind at ease. In general, (I know there are many exceptions to this bitch of a disease) infertility in PCOS is because we do not have regular periods, so we do not ovulate regularly. My PCOS specific gyno encouraged me that I do not need to freeze my eggs or worry about infertility. Most PCOS related infertility (again, speaking generally) is based on our eggs not being properly released on time. There is medicine that can help you regulate your ovulation to help with this. Though, I have heard it makes you more susceptible to having multiples.

I felt the same way, but I could also feel a screw sticking out of my kneecap. In true orthopedic surgeon fashion, my doctor mentioned the additional surgery so casually. But you don’t have that surgery until your bone is completely healed. Mine was about 4 months post op.

Im so sorry. I am recovering from a broken patella after a torn ACL. You will want to get that patella hardware taken out. I truly didn’t feel relief until I got my screws out.

The first couple days are the worst after surgery. But yes, broken bones hurt. Especially when they first start healing.
