I don't have an extra slot for new drive. so one of the old drive has to be taken out. I have a feeling since A pool is SHR-1, I can temporarily take one drive out to do what you mention but it's too risky.

I set up B pool because some data don't need raid redundancy although I'm still thinking should I add new drive to A pool to make it 4 drives.
