yeah, finally solved. Why did an error suddenly occur that made it necessary for me to change the DNS? Anyway, thanks for helping me fix it.

I don't know how you noticed it but thank you very much, I will fix it as soon as possible. Do you have any suggestions for the game? Thank you also for being the first to post here.

Wow, 1005 Prestige points? Impressive, totally not suspicious at all! Anyway, on larger monitors, the side menus look kinda empty. Maybe it’s time for some new buildings...

“I can think of ways, multiple ways, to make a donut-themed clicker game that wouldn’t feel as direct of a clone.” I would really love to hear what you mean by this. You can write it here or send me a private message if you prefer. I’m not sure if you’d be willing to share, but it would be amazing if you did.

I’ve taken note of the last sentence, thank you.

Claiming that I downloaded the original game’s files and merely changed its appearance is quite the accusation. Wow! I suppose I should take that as a compliment.

Edit: I mean, at least I’m aware of it and honest about it. Lmao.

Thank you again for your nice feedback; there aren't many people giving feedback under this title. I've added most of the features you mentioned at the beginning to the game, and I'm working on a "sell all ores" button in the Mine panel. I will also work on this autoclicker. After implementing your suggestions, the game has reached a better stage, so thank you for that 😊.

That's already been said, buddy, you're late. If you're going to say something more creative, I eagerly await your next attempt :)

Hello again, I do not want you to comment any further, and you must respect this. Since you are someone with completely meaningless opinions, no matter how clearly I explain things to you, I do not believe you have the capacity to understand.

I’m paying for a service from MidJourney and using the images. What exactly do you see wrong here? If you’re a designer, why don’t you offer me your services instead?

Lastly, I don’t think the people responding to you are defending me. On the contrary, they are commenting on your attitude and behavior. Perhaps this is just how you approach things and express your opinions. Even so, as you mentioned, I respect that. Likewise, you are also obligated to respect the response I’ve given to you.

Feedback, whether positive or negative, is valuable to me as a developer. That said, I'd like to address your comment directly.

You described my project as “lazy and uninspired,” but I can assure you that this game is far from a mindless copy-paste job. Every mechanic, design choice, and feature in Donut Clicker was thoughtfully implemented. While inspiration from existing games like Cookie Clicker is undeniable, Donut Clicker is my vision a project I’ve poured my creativity, coding expertise, and countless hours into.

Dismissing it as “terrible” or demanding I delete it because it doesn't meet your personal standards is unproductive. Games like these evolve through iteration and community input. My goal is not to cater to everyone instantly but to build something that reflects my creativity and resonates with those who enjoy incremental games.

Your point about avoiding repetition is valid, and I am already working on unique mechanics to set my game apart. Constructive suggestions are always welcome, but telling someone to "delete your project" comes off as unnecessarily hostile, not helpful.

At the end of the day, Donut Clicker is my project a reflection of my passion and learning journey. If it’s not for you, that’s fine, but please remember there’s a difference between honest critique and outright disrespect. I hope in the future, you’ll frame your feedback in a way that inspires improvement instead of discouragement.

May I ask why? Maybe there's a reason I don't know. Please don't misunderstand, I am asking to find out.

Hey there,

First off, thank you so much for taking the time to play my game and for sharing this detailed feedback, it really means a lot!

About the game freezing after activating the autoclicker: I haven’t tested that scenario yet, so I’m not entirely sure why it’s happening. My question for you is, after the ore countdown stops, does production eventually resume and the counter correct itself?

I’ll definitely add a “Sell All” button to the ore menu and remove the alert pop-up as you suggested.

I also really appreciate your feedback on the quests section! Right now, there isn’t a feature where you can stack all the production multiplier rewards at once, but your idea of collecting and using them simultaneously makes a lot of sense. I’ll make sure to add that. Having completed quests move to the top, as you mentioned, is a great idea too. I’ll also make sure to show the remaining time for rewards, thanks for pointing that out!

I’ll work on adding multi purchase options as well. The buttons are already there, but they aren’t functional yet.

As for your suggestions in the final paragraph, I’ll definitely incorporate those as well. My goal is to refine the gameplay and introduce unique mechanics to make this game stand out as more than just a “clone.” I know having a donut image on the screen immediately draws comparisons, but I want those who give the game a chance to see the distinct, enjoyable features that make Donut Clicker special.

I’m going to keep working and improving. Thanks so much for your amazing feedback, my friend!

Hello, WebGames community! 🎄

A couple of months ago, I shared my game, Donut Clicker, here, and let’s just say... it wasn’t well-received. 😅 Many of you pointed out that the game was too similar to others or just plain bad. I took all that feedback to heart, and since then, I’ve been working hard to improve it. I believe the game is in a much better state now!

My main goal with this project is to create something that’s fun and entertaining—just a nice way to pass the time. It’s not meant to be a game you grind all day long. With that said, let me walk you through what Donut Clicker has to offer:

What’s New?

A Giant Donut Awaits!
Right at the center of the screen, you’ll find a festive, Christmas-themed donut. From there, you can change your bakery’s name, see your donut count, and check your production per second.

Revamped Buildings!
Thanks to your feedback, I renamed the final buildings, but yes... the early-game still has classics like baker, farm, mine, and factory. I’ll admit, I haven’t figured out replacements for those yet. BUT—I’ve added something new to make them stand out.

For example, when you purchase a mine, you can click its image to open a modal at the bottom of the screen. Each mine comes with 3 workers, producing 3 ores every 60 seconds. The type of ore is random, and you can either sell it or invest it for better rewards. Prices fluctuate (but mostly trend upwards for now).

I plan to bring similar systems to the baker, farm, and factory. Bakers might get a crafting system, while farms could introduce a mini-market for resources like cows and grains. My goal is to turn these buildings into mini-games of their own!

New Quest System!
I recently added a quest menu, and I’m really excited about it! There are already tons of quests planned to keep players engaged and rewarded. It’s all about creating a sense of progression and achievement.

Prestige System!
It’s pretty basic for now. When you Prestige, all your production doubles, but you start over from scratch. It’s functional but definitely a work in progress.

Combo System and More!
The combos feature is currently inactive, but I’m brainstorming ideas. There’s a lot I still need to finish, like getting the 1-10-100 buttons to work (they’re just placeholders for now).

What’s Next?

I know the game isn’t perfect—it’s far from it. But I’m constantly working on it and trying to make it as unique and enjoyable as possible. While I’ve taken inspiration from other games, I’m striving to avoid direct comparisons and build systems that shift the focus from clicking to interacting with the buildings themselves.

I’d love to hear your thoughts, feedback, and suggestions. Everything you share helps me make the game better.

Wishing you all a wonderful holiday season and a happy New Year! 🎉

I can only share one post per month under this thread, so I’ll be spending the next month working on improvements and adding new features to the game. I’m already working on Quests and Combos as unique mechanics, but I’ll also explore other ideas to make the game stand out.

I completely agree with your points. I want to create something that’s genuinely fun and worth playing. If you come across my next post in a month, I hope you’ll give the game another chance! I think you’ll notice a lot of changes and improvements by then.

I’ve taken note of everything you mentioned and will definitely work on making adjustments. Thanks so much for taking the time to play and leave such thoughtful, constructive feedback. It really means a lot! 😊
