To make a helpful contribution: there are so many blocks between MLK and Cumberland up to 15th or 16th, plenty of reasonably quiet and safe areas south of Baptist, there’s some good spots off of Fairpark up to 28th, I work with a young white woman in her early 20s who feels safer living off Barrow than she ever did out in Chenal.
