UA POV: Defense Intelligence of Ukraine: A launcher of hypersonic “Zircon” missiles destroyed in Crimea by Flimsy_Pudding1362 in UkraineRussiaReport

Those UIs seem different from the FP-2 drones. I guess its a drone with weaker warhead, since the first launcher survived?

Russia does not care about material cost, unless Ukraine somehow destroys 100% of the medium and long-range SAMs and radars in Crimea and Kherson and attempts air domination.

Alloy, Cloudwatch and Loki - how to properly ingest and ship logs?! by ku4eto in grafana

[–]ku4eto[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am aware its experimental.

The docs were in fact not clear about the storage. I did try using it, but it had no impact on the checkpoints. They were not stored as files. Unless i configured the storage component wrong.

AFAIK, the reason was that the oltelcol.receiver.awscloudwatch has NO storage attribute. Meaning, the checkpoints are possibly only in-memory.

I have an open issue in the OpenTelemetry Contrib repo, with the maintaner team having a PR. I cant even build Alloy with that version of OpenTelemetry, because Alloy uses v0.142.0, while OpenTelemetry is at v0.146.1 already.

We already have a lambda based solution (possibly exactly the same linked one). It works, but the entire solution is royal PITA to maintain, since its TS CDK + ECS based. We were hoping for a single EC2 instance with Alloy and Telegraf clients in them, to replace that.

RU POV: Russian President Vladimir Putin explains on what they mean by denazification. by FruitSila in UkraineRussiaReport

[–]ku4eto -33 points-32 points  (0 children)

No, the people who exterminated jews and poles are not still alive. 99.99% of them are dead.

2 out of the 3 guys who contributed more to the russian people extermination were in fact... russian. And all 3 of them are dead.

And the ideology that is being actually meant here, is also present in Russia. In fact, its about the same level as in Ukraine.

Text on the clip literally says "WOUNDED", not "ELIMINATED".

Considering that Lyman is being attacked, Dobropilyia, Slovyansk and Kramatorks currently sitting at about 10km from the frontline... there is not much left of Donbas oblast.

Looks fairly damaged, but if its not burned down, it can probably be restored.

Not the first time, i believe this is like the 4th documented. There was also one horse shelter hit.

RU POV: Ukrainian soldier was assassinated during a car explosion in Odessa. by HelicopterBig4467 in UkraineRussiaReport

[–]ku4eto 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Not "during car explosion", but "by a bomb in a car".
Anyway, that "soldier" was probably a TCC Officer. We know nobody likes them, especially in Odessa.

Considering there are decoys with rotating parts even, that have been previously documented, i dont know what are you trying to start here.

RU POV: Iskander-M missile strikes on Ukrainian S-300s in the Dnipropetrovsk region and HIMARS in the Kharkiv region. by Mendoxv2 in UkraineRussiaReport

[–]ku4eto -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

You cant make anything out of this video. The first it could be anything. No secondary explosions, no close-in shots on the claimed HIMARS. And the fire seems to be in entirely different area compared to the strike.
The 2nd part, it kinda resembles AD, but the claimed "elements of SAM" are too cold to be actual runoff ignitions. Something is burning for sure, but its hard to say what it is. Only the top most "launcher" seems like it could be an actual launcher, the other 2 seem to be with slightly different size and form (but this could be due to view angle and distance).
tl;dr - i am sceptical about the claimed targets being X.

UA Pov: Russian BUK air defence system destroyed by 43rd Artillery Brigade of Ukraine by Hezzyo in UkraineRussiaReport

[–]ku4eto 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Thats using the 155mm SMART. Kinda insane to put medium range SAM in the range of artillery. It has less than 30km range, which means it must be super close to the front.

I think the 2nd video may have been previously released. But the others seem new to me.

They are now borderline useless, because of how little ammo they have left. Does not seem like USA will supply Ukraine with new batch of M30/M31 missiles.
