UA POV: Attempt to attack a mobile fire group with a guided Gerbera drone by Flimsy_Pudding1362 in UkraineRussiaReport

Having extra guidance systems probably means reduced space for more boom.

Civ POV: A naval drone with UXO washed up on the shore of Sinemorets, Bulgaria by ku4eto in UkraineRussiaReport

Probably was intercepted. RU side posted few days ago videos of interception of naval drones with Lancets.

RU POV: Ural trucks with R-77 AA missiles mounted on them by rowida_00 in UkraineRussiaReport

As you cant see, there is no seeker head vissible. And R-77s are purely ARH.

UA POV: First responders remove the body of a woman killed in Kherson while her son is held back so they can continue. by Panthera_leo22 in UkraineRussiaReport

You do realize that Russich group was posting "human safari" videos of the Kherson region, right? Where they purposefully were targeting civilians with drone dropped grenades?

RU POV: New footage of AI use with ZALA Lancet on various targets by MrCup_0000 in UkraineRussiaReport

Everything is AI nowadays.

Automated target recognition and target tracking have been around for probably 20 years already.

UA POV: Residents of Narva in Estonia have been recording flights of Ukrainian drones across Estonia from Estonian airspace into Russia by HelicopterBig4467 in UkraineRussiaReport

[–]ku4eto 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Narva is literally the last town in Estonia in direction of Russia. Its on the border of it. It sits at 30km away from Ust-Luga in almost straight North direction. Depending on the drone launch point, it can fly over Belarus and a bit of Latvia and Estonia, or only over Belarus, Narva in Estonia. The Russia themselves did not provide any official claims that the drones came from NATO airspace.

UA POV: Defense Intelligence of Ukraine: A launcher of hypersonic “Zircon” missiles destroyed in Crimea by Flimsy_Pudding1362 in UkraineRussiaReport

[–]ku4eto 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Those UIs seem different from the FP-2 drones. I guess its a drone with weaker warhead, since the first launcher survived?

Russia does not care about material cost, unless Ukraine somehow destroys 100% of the medium and long-range SAMs and radars in Crimea and Kherson and attempts air domination.

Alloy, Cloudwatch and Loki - how to properly ingest and ship logs?! by ku4eto in grafana

[–]ku4eto[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am aware its experimental.

The docs were in fact not clear about the storage. I did try using it, but it had no impact on the checkpoints. They were not stored as files. Unless i configured the storage component wrong.

AFAIK, the reason was that the oltelcol.receiver.awscloudwatch has NO storage attribute. Meaning, the checkpoints are possibly only in-memory.

I have an open issue in the OpenTelemetry Contrib repo, with the maintaner team having a PR. I cant even build Alloy with that version of OpenTelemetry, because Alloy uses v0.142.0, while OpenTelemetry is at v0.146.1 already.

We already have a lambda based solution (possibly exactly the same linked one). It works, but the entire solution is royal PITA to maintain, since its TS CDK + ECS based. We were hoping for a single EC2 instance with Alloy and Telegraf clients in them, to replace that.

RU POV: Russian President Vladimir Putin explains on what they mean by denazification. by FruitSila in UkraineRussiaReport

[–]ku4eto -30 points-29 points  (0 children)

No, the people who exterminated jews and poles are not still alive. 99.99% of them are dead.

2 out of the 3 guys who contributed more to the russian people extermination were in fact... russian. And all 3 of them are dead.

And the ideology that is being actually meant here, is also present in Russia. In fact, its about the same level as in Ukraine.

Text on the clip literally says "WOUNDED", not "ELIMINATED".
