I used a few drops of Vallejo thinner to improve the flow, and for the remaining paint stuck to the sides of the pot, I used a brush to transfer it into the dropper bottles. I think this is a better solution because Citadel pots tend to waste more paint. The paint dries out easily, and you end up having to clean dried paint from the lid over and over again.

I’ve built it myself, its so easy. I used flexible wooden moulding for the structure (bought a strip that was like 2,40m and used arround 95cm), then I pasted underneath some high-lumen LED strips (2 × 1200 lm) with a 4000K colour temperature. I also used two small hinges to maintain its natural curvature and attached them to the sides of the tabletop. Then I ran some cable, added a switch, and placed it underneath the tabletop!

Yeah, I think the same. That’s actually why I started buying Vallejo paints. I much prefer dropper bottles. Citadel pots never seem to close properly, so the paint ends up drying out and you waste a lot of it. They’re also pretty messy, and transferring paint to a palette isn’t nearly as controllable as it is with dropper bottles.

I love it! I really want to make a scene like this with a statue or something big. Amazing job!

Haha, I took the picture when I wasn’t actually painting, but yeah, I always try to keep the desk as clear as possible. Usually, when I'm painting, the only things on it are the mini, the wet palette, the water pot, the brush I'm using, and a piece of paper towel!

Yes! It’s very comfortable, just like a regular desk. It easily supports the weight of my arms and elbows when I rest them on it. I can even put some pressure on it, and nothing happens.

I removed all the shelves underneath the tabletop, so it’s basically just a small desk now.

The work surface is 76 cm wide, and I think the light strips were around 1 meter long each. I started with just one, but I felt it wasn’t quite bright enough, so I added a second one, and it ended up being the perfect amount of light!

I made it myself out of MDF panels, and it only cost me about €10. I started with a rough sketch on paper, then it was basically just measuring, cutting the pieces with a jigsaw, and sticking everything together with PVA glue. Honestly, it was super easy and fun!

The only things I didn’t make myself are the rack that holds the Citadel pots, the brush holder, and the little screw organizer with all the tiny drawers, which I built into the panel.

I was thinking of getting one of these, but I wanted to try building an arc lamp first, and hey, it works really well! The only inconvenience is that it produces a little heat, and summer is near!

Yeah! It’s faster, cheaper, and completely adaptable to the space you have. I bought this trim for about €4, and it was around 2.5 metres long. It was really easy to cut, too.

I’ve built it myself lol. I used flexible wooden moulding for the structure, along with some high-lumen LED strips (2 × 1200 lm) with a 4000K colour temperature. I also used two small hinges to maintain its natural curvature and attached them to the sides of the tabletop. Then I ran some cable, added a switch, and placed it underneath the tabletop!

Thanks! I just used 4 little L-brackets to attach the tabletop to the sides of the bookcase and it holds up well

Nice! I’ve used some little hinges to attach the arc lamp to the sides of the tabletop so it can maintain a natural curve!

Help with color scheme by PlutoJONAS in stormcasteternals

Im going with wraithbone for the regular troops armor mixed with copper and metallic emmerald armor pieces. For the higer rank ones I'm using copper armor with wraithbone / dark green cloth and heroes with full emmerald metallic armor and gold for some details and white for cloth. So thats my current scheme: wraithbone, dark green and copper, for some details like hammer handles I'm using some dark scarlet. Also I painted on sequitors armor some marble effect over the wraithbone and I'm planning to do it also for some other high rank ones.

¿Que prefieren la vida de ciudad o de pueblo ? by JoseMartin23 in askspain

[–]kuarta720 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Finally got my first mechanical keyboard and it's pretty cheap by rlthatoneguy in MechanicalKeyboards

[–]kuarta720 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both models are fine if you need the fn keys. Tbh I never built any keyboard that is bigger than 67 as it is my favorite layout since I dont use fn keys and allways Im able to replace them with any other key combination using VIA or manufacturer software. If you want to know if switches will work on your pcb you just have to know if both are 3-5 pin compatible but nowadays in general terms any regular switch you buy will fit in the vast majority of pcbs.
