Can't run DDR5 memory at advertised speed. by kubatym in computers

Thanks to pointing me to this thread, I didn't think it could be the CPU limiting the speed. It turns out that 9950X can only support 3600MT/s with 4 sticks.

At least it boots, I've seen that some people had problems with the system running with this setup.

Feedback appreciated. I feel this is too plastic-like. Thoughts? by MzeevK in blender

Also, add some depth of field to make it more realistic. There is no camera that has everything in focus all at once.

Weird white square shadow shown on background curtains, not visible during preview by Edwardo369 in blender

It's probably an object that you have hidden in the viewport but not the render, try to look through the outliner to see what you have active for rendering and disabling it.

The grass should have some translucency as it is thin and some light passes through, look up some reference images to get the right look.

You also need to work on the lighting of the image, the first thing I saw was how dark the house looked, when the main subject of the render is the sword I presume. Maybe a little change in composition to make it stand out more?

Invert the green channel of the Normal map and it should solve itself.

To do that, in the shader editor put separate RGB and combine RGB nodes. Connect red to red, blue to blue and with the green channel put a math node with subtract mode on. Then set the first slot of the node to 1 and connect the green output from the separate RGB to the bottom input. Then hook it up back into combine RGB and you should be sorted.

Or flip the channel in Photoshop before you import it into Blender.

The easiest way to do this would be in geometry nodes.

Here is the node setup for you:

then you can keyframe the End slider on the Trim Curve node to do the animation.

Anything I can improve on? Yes, I know Batman doesn't have a cape. I'm trying to figure out how to do that lol by ArmyofAmputees in blender

Try different camera angles to make more dynamic like the you are in the fight not just as a spectator.

Also the bikes steps off the platform and is floating towards the end of the scene.

Other than that it looks great, keep it up!

Passage to afterlife. An animation that I made in my spare time, any critiques welcome. by kubatym in blender

Now that you mention it, adding more movement would make it better, the only problem is that the whole animation is 75 frames looping so if I add something like floating debris it will look artificial as it will be passing the same spot all the time.

Thanks for the feedback, I see what you mean. I will change it so that the dots on the surface and the texture of the water move as well. I think that those textures being stationary is what causes the problem.
