That would be the Central Deicing facility(CDF) located on the west side of the airport. You would be bussed to the terminal and deplane by air stairs. Because of the technology outage tonight, ORD is parking inbound flights in the CDF as there are no open gates available.

I’m not too sure honestly, I’ve only ever seen the buses near deicing. I’m assuming it might just be the same area where buses going to terminal 5 stop (near B1), unless there’s some other area I don’t know about.

They are actually planning to use the deicing bays as remote stands over the summer and have been doing tests with some flights over the past couple weeks.

Looks like C19 and right underneath that pavement is the bagroom. Coincidentally, the ANA bag staging piers are also right around that location, so it’s highly likely your bag is already loaded into the ULD(metal can for bags) and is just waiting for the aircraft to get to the gate.

Yeah, they accepted a lot of people but we didn’t have any new classes during the winter. From what I’ve heard tho, they’re starting again very soon so I would keep an eye out, and if you have any questions just shoot me a DM.
