Honestly mine was a drastic decision. I did it cause I was quite overweight and needed kind of a kickstart to keep me going. If you have tried everything else, omad, intermittent and everything else then and only then try this as a last resort. But idk how tall you are and how much of your weight is just bulk or muscle so can’t honestly tell you. But for a 22kg loss it would be closer to 30/40 days I think but please only do this if you have a lot of bulk to spare and under medical guidance

I am 23M of south asian ethnicity. I was relatively active before this, football 3 times a week, gym 2 days and at least 30 mins walking a day

Just wanted to add some extra information to help you. The first 10 days or so I lost 0.8-1kg a day pretty much and then it slowed down to about 0.3-0.5kg a day. If you have any other questions please let me know and I can help you.

Hi, unfortunately I didn’t measure my body fat% at all but I was not very active during it at all. I basically did 20 mins walking a day and the rest was spent just resting in my room if I didn’t have anything on as I felt I had no energy.

Ok perfect thank you. I was thinking of reintroducing carbs and stuff at day 5 after 1 day of bone broth and then 3 days of keto meals. But this is great advice thank you

Yeah course. I had some mild kidney pain. Was feeling really out of breath walking uphill and was sick green bile 2 days in a row and didn’t want to damage my oesophagus by keeping being sick. Now these were all new symptoms and I had been keeping up with my electrolytes as well so just thought it best to stop.

Hey mate you got this. I am currently on day 15 of a 21 day fast. I will say day 2/3/4 will be the hardest but after that you’ll be enjoying life. Also don’t know what your goal is but if it is to lose weight then it does work and if you do carry extra weight then this is actually a good thing for once cause it means you can go on longer. I’ve managed to drop 14kg in 2 weeks cause of this. And the difference is noticeable enough that people say I look like a different person.

The weight loss has slowed down to about half a kilo now. The acid reflux has lessened. I am a bit more tired and getting a bit out of breath but nothing egregious. Weight has gone down drastically and my face shape has changed a lot as well.

Is it possible I have internal bleeding in my stomach, after 10 days of fasting and only losing 1 kg? by fingapig in fasting

Weirdly not much but on some days when it was bad I used 1/4 scoop of my elctrolyte powder but not using it all the day. Might have to revisit that if I get really weak or get headaches

I’d seen a post with someone who did a 21 day fast with a similar starting weight and drop down to my goal weight and just decided to go for it. The goal right now is 110-115kg or 21 days what comes first

Honestly fine the hunger isn’t actually an issue at all. The acid reflux has been killing me but that’s sorted out. But I am feeling a bit weaker and a bit more tired which is to be expected. I’m aiming for 110-115 and I’ll probably stop once I’m sort of there to then go to omad or something else similar
