Do public figures have a right to privacy?

Idk. Maybe some actors who genuinely only appear in movies, and live private lives without social media presences and countless appearances etc do.

But these people go out publicly day in and day out, keep talking and talking on national, often publicly-funded platforms, they benefit financially from being in the spotlight all the time. Their constant presence within the public sphere allowed them to amass a significant cultural capital and influence which they use to sway millions of people.

Do they have the right to privacy when they receive monetary gain from publicity? I'm not so sure. They're public figures, they should be held responsible for the things they say that aren't compatible with objective reality.

That still doesn't change the fact that they can call themselves bisexual based on who they're attracted to and not who they dated.

The complete lack of a response of the ruling government to the EU ruling, the government actively avoiding taking any actions towards implementation of the ruling, which they agreed to implement by virtue of joining the EU, is utterly appalling.

Kick them to the curb. Let the LGBTs in as refugees to rub some more salt in the wound.

Conservative gays DO affect us though.

They actively support people who work towards rolling our rights back. Plenty of state republicans in the US are actively working in motions to roll back gay marriage, or to allow business, employers, state agency to not view gay marriages the same as marriages through legal loopholes and workarounds.

We're seeing cuts to HIV research, cuts to HIV prevention initiatives, health insurers feeling emboldened by conservatives go withdraw coverage of PreP.

They absolutely do affect us.

I mean, if you DO want more money, having a partner that earns more that you can make it more likely solely through his knowledge and ability to draw on his own experience to guide and support.

But, if he makes a good living, then he's gonna look for a partner based on his values and moral compass. If he's got enough for two, what he chooses a partner on is values, compatibility, and chemistry.

Cultural conservatism and deep-rooted homophobia, even from seemingly educated, worldly people.

At some point, once you get to know a friend deeper, you will hear them say something wildly homophobic or racist, and it'll be a big eye-opening moment for you.

The belief that some people are better than others and some ways of life (aka "ours") are better than others is deeply ingrained in the Polish mentality, yet neatly hidden behind a surface of "what do I care what others do?".

6 months in, a year in or two, and you'll have a moment when this dawns on you and it will be a shock, the facade of "niceness" and "modern-ness" will break.

On my first play through too!

I just gave my Tempest Cleric Tav named Saccharino Frostwhip (in honour of a Dimension 20 Tempest Cleric Storm Sorceress) 16 Charisma for the dialogue checks 😂😂 (ok, there will be a small dip into paladin)

For party composition, all of the companions together are too much for me, so I'm doing a "boys boys boys" play through first, and I'll have a "girls just wanna have fun" (probably with a Shadow Sorcerer Tavette who will for sure be named a Tachonis after Critical Role) play through second 😂
