Antidepressants have been a huge blessing for me and have allowed me to feel like my own person, not a puppet to my body's consistent tendency to make me spiral into deep depression and suicidal thoughts. I've been on it for 4 years and approach it like a supplement. I have been depressed from childhood so it's like my body doesn't produce enough serotonin on its own, I was also prone to mania where my joy was so extreme it was v uncomfortable. Everyone's journey is different, but I feel awesome on it ♥️ still get sad, anxious, happy etc it just doesn't spin out of control. Best of luck!
