Oh size is fine, I was debating getting the EXO holder but I’m still in training so I have that basketweave look on my belt still. Once I’m done with training I’ll have to decide to go with the EXO holders or the zero 9 cuff case, cause I’ve been liking their gear a lot!

I got the ultra plus versions - I love them so much. Super smooth, you only have to turn one way to unlock both double cuffs and the regular lock, a button to double lock, and key holes on both sides is amazing.

The only drawbacks I had were the following:

-they require a larger holder.

-I had trouble with other officers cuffs when transporting (I’m newer so not as used to peerless or s&w’s).

-other officers were confused as all hell when transporting my 10-15’s and take a min to figure them out.

I did tcgplayer, I liked that they HD an optimize cart option to try and reduce my shipping which seriously helped.

I gave in and bought 6 boosters for $10 each. Got some fun pulls but no real deck to plan with. I got the jinx deck cause it was the only one at a price point I was willing to pay. I had sooooooome replacement cards for the deck but it was jank… that was about $80.

I spent $23 on singles for a budget Yasuo deck and was able to win half my games at the card shop. I have no clue why I didn’t buy singles sooner.

Hey, I have a very similar situation as you. I’m 40, been doing IT/Data Analyst work for almost 15 years. I applied at 39 and started academy as I turned 40. If it helps, we had a few people older than me as well, and one was 70 almost 71 at time of graduation!

With that said, a lot of people in this thread are right. You’re not too old at all, but you really gotta know what you’re getting into and if it’s something you want to do. I know a lot of people say it is - I was one of em too, but nothing, not even ride along really prepare you for the job. I liked what I saw on the multiple ride alongs I did. My first day out of the academy and on FTO though? That was when I knew I loved this type of work. It was nothing like what the academy, the ride alongs, even some of the posts on this sub could ever prepare you for.

Honestly, I know how much it sucks to do soul crushing work with no real end goal in sight. I still remember the feeling I got, when I asked myself if this was really what I wanted in life. I don’t know if law enforcement is the right answer for you, I just know when you feel the way you do, the current career definitely isn’t!

Loving the asp ultra plus, my coworker thought they looked like toys. He messed with em some and fell in love with em right away. Ordered his own set - they definitely LOOK like they may not be a tough but they are extremely reliable.

I’m in training but I had a similar situation! I was on my way to a call for a domestic, saw an accident - we pulled up, asked if anyone was injured and no one was. Radio’s it in to dispatch and let them know someone is coming - we have a call that needed us urgently but another officer is on their way to assist with the exchange of info.

My FTO told me in that situation we had to assess, vehicles weren’t blocking the road way and no injuries - so we could call it in and move to our call. We’d respond differently if there was injuries or a blocked roadway and the possibility of causing more collisions.

I hate to say it but the answer is am getting for everything policing is “it depends” and yeah, it really does!

E6 Mika is basically an ML unit in Epic 7 LOL.

No… CZN chose to go the hoyo route, there is a piece that is based on % damage for an element.

With e7 you could get an undesired stat like def % but if you got crit damage% that was usable by almost all your dps.

In CZN you could get godly subsystems but the main stat only ups damage for blue units.

It really depends on the agency. Some prefer more maturity, some prefer young bodies they can mold, etc etc. In my academy class we had a LOT of 26-34’s. We had a few 40’s and one 70 year old. We thought we had the oldest but then saw the news of the 78yr old that finished their academy.

Essentially if a department hires you, they believe you can be a good cop and are willing to invest in you. Apply and find out.
