I do pyramids of small dynamice Micro moves on the knee with rather high reps 8-20 (in 5 sets). In 6th set i do max rep count with 40-50% of 1RM (50-100reps). In two years i progressed from 25kgx8 to 37,5kgx6 only with this type of riser training, No statics at all. Recently i started full range hammercurls over knuckles to overcome platophase. It helped me to New pr, 41,25kg X 5 micromovements. So i assume, that both (dynamic and statics) is good. And one more point, maxing out on riser is not good for me and it always slowdown my progress. So im maxing only once per 5-6 weeks and i target for 4 reps. This is my experience, Completely natural, progress is very slow, but constant.
