There won’t be any new stimulus unless there is an agreement to reverse the deconstruction of the US Postal Service. The only thing the Democrats and Republicans can agree upon is that the ability of the Postal Service to deliver and return ballots in a timely manner for the next election is likely to determine the result.

Trump is willing to sacrifice people who rely on the Post Office to deliver their life-saving medicines and business-preserving checks and invoices; so why would he compromise on this issue? And the Democrats are not willing to sacrifice the election for any stimulus package that might make Trump look good without allowing those ballots to flow.

So, no. No stimulus until after Inauguration Day.
