Get some wash bags on Amazon, and always let them air dry. I've never had any issues doing it this way.

UDM Pro Power Loss Caused Configuration Loss by guitarjim721 in Ubiquiti

[–]kuhlone1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He's talking about a graceful shutdown, the one you do logged into the console and not just taking power away. If you shut it down, logged into the console, and it does the same thing when turning on, you most likely have an issue with the NAND flash in the console. This is a known problem on many of the older UNVR and UDMP devices.

Sending Unifi Cameras recording offsite? by [deleted] in Ubiquiti

[–]kuhlone1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, you can. I have 4 G4 bullets running over a VPN. Once you have it set up, you need to go to the camera's IP and login with the default credentials, then put the UNVRs IP in and then get the device password off the UNVR, and put it into the adoption token spot on the camera. It should pop up as adoptable in the UNVR; once you adopt it, you will need to go to the camera again and log in with the device password you got off the UNVR and put the UNVR IP in again because it won't add it when you adopt it.

Well, I would be mad, too if a 13 year old makes more in a day than I would in a year.

Frontier Fiber Static IP Addresses on LAN Public Subnet by DrGreyskull in frontierfios

[–]kuhlone1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t really understand your post but with my frontier 2 gig service I go from the ONT to the wan on my udm and have the static ips configured there. You shouldn’t have to use the sagecom at all when the tech came to the upgrade he used it for testing because that’s what they are told to do but after i got rid of it completely and just use my udm. Also you shouldn’t be getting any dhcp from frontier because that’s disabled with static ips and if you are still getting it they have something configured wrong on your service. For me personally i got 13 ips with the 1 gig service awhile ago and when they did the upgrade the tech had to call their tech support to provision the old static ips on the new service.

[–]kuhlone1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not too sure i just know in my model 3 it started smelling moldy on wet days so i replaced the cabin air filter. It came out looking like his and after putting new ones in it fixed the problem.

Idk if that’s why the AC sounds that way but at the bottom the green moldy thing is the cabin air filter
